Cecil was our tour guide for the full day Verdun tour. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the battles fought there. It was great having someone to show us the most popular sites, and also give us insight into the areas that aren't so well-known.

Had a great tour. We were in tne area for two days and Cecil was very helpful in tailoring our visit for a day on our own and and a full day with him. He gave great advice on hear we could see on our own. In our time with him, he did a great job balancing the big picture perspective to help us understand what we were seeing along with phenomenal, colorful detail on particulars. He did a great job. He really helped us understand the geography of what we were seeing. There are so many sites around Verdun and the battle was so long that I was lost before we went. Cecil really helped us out it all together and understand how all the sites related to each other. Truly a great guide to history .

We enjoyed our time with Cecil. He was very good at explaining the large picture of the fortification facing Germany, how the battles of Verdun played out, and he did it with a bit of humor when discussing some topics. Very nice day
