My husband and I had Sabin as the guide for our Poon Hill trekking. I have never felt so enjoyable and safe before in my many past trekking experiences.  Sabin was very patient with us. He stayed close to us but never rushed us. We stopped to admire and learn about plants and trees from him. He gave us space too to enjoy the peace and quiet.  We sang songs and joked. He always checked on our well being throughout our entire trekking and especially when the temperature got colder.  He even went the extra mile to bring us for walks after we have checked in to the guest house.  When he was not sure of the name of some birds, he was humble to admit it and willing to learn more on his own.  I will definitely recommend him to anyone and would engage his service again.

We spent 6 days at Mardi Himal Trek with Sabin and it was perfect. Patient, very caring, helpful, professional , resourceful in all circumstances. And dynamic, friendly, and...fun ! 

I appreciate his skills about birding, rare among trekking guides !

Sabin was my guide on two occasions during my trip to Nepal in November 2017.  First time was to see sights in Katmandhu. I found Sabin to be very knowledgeable about the historic and religious sights that we visited.  He's a very kind and patient young man with excellent communication skills. Next we took the ride up Chandragiri Hill. We decided to hike down, which took about 3 hours. I'm much older than Sabin, but again his kindness and patience stood out.  He was always concerned with my well being.  When there were two different options of routes, he would explain them clearly and leave the choice up to me based on what I thought was most appropriate for my hiking level. It was a very enjoyable day of amazing views, hiking, talking and a good meal at the end. 

I would highly recommend Sabin.  He will not disappoint. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very good company. We are already discussing plans for my return in 2018.

Having been with Sabin on many occasions I can attest to his knowledge and expertise on hikes around the Kathmandu Valley and out from there.  He was born and grew up in Nepal always hiking and exploring.  He spent a lot of time with his uncle, a local travel company owner, gaining much valuable experience.  He can take you to amazing places that only the local people know about plus all the special places that Nepal has to offer, and there are many.  Plus, he's a fine friend to have and a fun guy to be with.  You'll definitely enjoy his company.  His partner, Rajesh, is also a pleasure to be with.  Make sure to contact them when you visit Nepal, you won't be disappointed.

When I was in Katmandu I met Sabin on one of my rounds around the Buddhanath stupa, and he introduced himself as a tourguide. I immediately had warm feelings for him, and I was sad I couldn't go with him on tour since I had to leave Kathmandu the day after. But we did have time to have a meal together, and his enthusiasm for his country and for hiking ignited my own passion for traveling and wandering around even more. Sabin is a very friendly young man and has all the potential to take people to the most beautiful spots in Nepal  and to guide them safely along  the most amazing trails in and out of the mountains. If I had had more time I would have spent much more time with him, so I would have seen more of Kathmandu and the surrounding area than I did now. Who knows next time? Thank you, Sabin!
