I had the priviledge of having Hossam as my guide the last day of my trip. He tailored my trip to my needs/interests since I basically only had one day to see the city. He was very knowledgeable &very patient.  He walked me through the history of Egyptian politics and had real-time examples of what was going on in the country, as we did a walking tour of the city. I definitely walked away with an in-depth account of Cairo - past and present.  We even stopped alonglocal shops to taste local fruits and sweets which added a whole new element to the cultural experience. I highly recommend!
