On our 16-days trip we saw almost everything possible - national parks Udawalawe and Minneriya, jungles, elephants in day and in night, waterfalls, museums, buddhistic and hinduistic temples, stunning Hills Country, botanical garden in Kandy and herbs garden, caves in Dambulla, Sri Pada, Lion rock Sigiriya, ancient Pollonaruwa, lakes, ocean, beautiful beaches as well as rivers, dropping bridges and durian trees, rice fields and tea plantages, sand with Indian ocean in Trincomalee or beautiful sunrises in Uppuveli, Passikudah and Batticaloa.

Amazing Experiences and Unforgettable Memories

Even that we had a rough plan for our trip, we were open to any tips and we changed our plan few times accordingly to recommendations from Surendra. First we were planning to book his services only for 8 days, but after few days we decided to ask him to stay with us for the whole trip. And we couldnt be more happier he accepted our request - it was the most amazing vacation for us ever!

We meet the wild elephant in the jungles of Udawalawe, took a ride by train from Ella to Nuwara Eliya, eat plenty of tasty rottis and mango lassis everywhere, saw huge amount of buddhistic temples and tried meditations there, we hiked to the Sri Pada and saw the sunrise, tried the best Ceylon black tea in Tea Factory, made a trip around Kandy Lake. We hiked Sigiriya, made friends in Trinco, took a tuk-tuk ride, jet-ski ride, tried snorkelling and saw sharks and experienced private military hotels with private beaches.

We will never forget singing in the van or playing guitar in the night, watching movies under the stars in Passikudah or eating coconut ice-cream on the corner of the street in Trinco.

We tried traditional saris, traditional sri lankan food (it IS spicy! not just a little bit!), bathing in wateralls and riding bikes in ancient Pollonaruwa in the night, watching wild buffalos, eagles, baby toads.. 

Basically we experienced anything possible in 16 days thanks to our guide and now great friend, Don Surendra.
