George is very passionate about South Africa - the people, plants, animals, ecology and history.  He loves to share his extensive knowledge.  He is well prepared, and clearly does a lot of research.  He was interested in us, our expectactions of the tours and country in general, and accordingly he tailored the activities to meet our objectives.  George was conscious of schedule, and always kept us on track.  He clearly loves what he does which made the days all the more enjoyable.  And on top of everything, he is very personable and enjoyable to spend time with. 

We were a group of 6 traveling to Cape Town for the first time. We are three couples that have been friends for many years and have traveled internationally several times together. George was arranged to be our guide by a person helping us with a Safari which we enjoyed after several days in Cape Town. We were originally set to be with him for a couple of days and we opted to increase our time with him. He is very flexible which worked well for our group. Our day trips were well planned with time allowing for us to explore or relax and not to have our day structured with a rigid schedule.  He has excellent taste which came in handy when  helping us with our restaurant  and wine selections and his knowledge of the area, the animals and plant life and the history is superb as well. We decided to have a meal at home one evening and he took us to a local store and helped us put a wonderful evenings dinner together for our group. We wholeheartedly recommend him as a guide.

We were a small group of four and met George for a two destination tour over the course of five or six days.  He is unfailingly cheerful, never worried by requests for reasonable changes  and a mine of knowledge.  I was impressed by his breadth of knowledge about a wide and diverse range of subjects.  

George is an excellent guide with excellent knowledge whether it is animals, flowers, geography or history of the country.

George could explain South Africa to us of a very interesting way so it was a great trip for us.

He also attached great importance to safety, we felt very well cared for the whole trip.

We have traveled to 114 countries and been hosted by many guides.  I want to compliment George for his ability to share information about Cape Town.  We have been here before, but this tour gave us real insight into a city as beautiful as Cape Town.  Each step of the way he prepared us before arrival at a location and answered our questions with great enthusiasm and concern.
