We had such a great time with Amy and we got to learn a lot about the city. She is very passionate about her city and culture which makes it a lot more fun. She was extremely knowledgeable in everything (especially about pandas!). We got to experience the old and the new parts of Chengdu. She answered so many questions before the tour and during the tour too. She has been so helpful. Would highly recommend Amy if you ever visit Chengdu!

Amy she's a fantastic tour guide, we spent 6 days in Chengdu, from the start when we were trying to plan the trip, she was very responsive,to when we arrived,. I had Amy as aprivate tour guide for 2 days. we ha a lot of fun, she showed me many interesting places in Chengdu and we went to see the Giant Pandas. Although it was raining we had a good time in the mountains. Amy is a warm hearted person with a large knowledge of the places to visit in Chengdu. I can only recommend her as a tour guide.

Starting from the planning of the trip, which Amy took very seriously, aligning with me on every aspect of the trip, including our interests like local culture, Sichuan opera, ancient towns, mountains but also the fact that we were travelling with a 13 year old boy. She has proposed excellent spots to visit mixing cleverly the extremely modern and posh city areas with traditional parts of the city, beautiful parks and museums. Every other day Amy included something interesting for our son. 

The English and communication skills of Amy are excellent. I liked a lot that before every trip like to the high altitude mountains or to a place where there were not too many vegan options for me and my wife to eat, she would think what we may possibly need to have a pleasant stay. Because of her patience and easiness of communication we never felt that we could not express a wish that came to our minds, like ordering some items on the internet to be delivered in the hotel or entering any store we may find interesting. And she even bargained with different sellers, when we wanted to buy something.

I also liked that she has fully considered our wish to use the means of transportation the locals use, so that we were not isolated in a private car hopping from one tourist spot to the other, but rather took buses, trains, metro and DiDi. That way we could really embed in the Chengduers lively but relaxed lifestyle .

Amy is a really dedicated professional. I warmly recommend her as a guide for anyone travelling to Chengdu and Sichuan.
