We have used Tourhq for excursions from off a cruise ship recently and were very lucky that we found Anthony to be our guide for Colombo in Sri Lanka. His communication was excellent prior to our arrival and he answered all our questions promptly. He was reliable, friendly, spoke excellent English and his vehicle was spacious and clean and as we found that we could fit in another two from our cruise, we ended up being six altogether. He promptly met us at the dock and showed us a great variety of the sights of Colombo, with a stop at the beach where we couldn’t resist a meeting with a python! At all times we felt safe and secure in his hands and he gave us plenty of time to wander and explore. As we were on a cruise, it’s important to be back at the ship with time to spare and he was very respectful of this and had us back at the dock in plenty of time. All of us would happily recommend him to be your guide.

We spent 6 unforgettable days under Anthony's guidiance. He is absolutely reliable, well prepared, punctual, polite and kind with a sense of humor. During these days he was totally flexible, considering out wishes.

We had a wonderful ten days in every aspect. First of all, we would like to thank our guide Asantha for making our honeymoon perfect. It was also a great kindness to give gifts to Anthony, the owner of the company, and to give our leader his own private car and camera to make our holiday better. Thank you so much for everything...

Anthony is a truly amazing and warm human being who's knowledge was exceptional.   This would oridnarily be enough to consider him as a first class tour guide.  However, in addition to this,  his willingness to adapt to itinerary changes on the hop and the contacts he had in order to make these changes happen, was simply incredible. Whatever we wanted to do or wherever we wanted to go, he seemed to have a contact who would fit us in at the last moment at competitive rates.   Nothing was too much trouble for Anthony and we simply could not have imagined the trip without him. We feel privileged to have met such a person who was simply "Second to None" in his field. We will be back to Sri lanka again because of this man.  Thank you thank you thank to our new friend Anthony.  

Upon arrival in Colombo airport we were greeted with flowers and a friendly face. We had a short trip (7days) felt as though we had seen so many sites within this short time frame. Our guide showed us all the highlights of Sri Lanka including secret spots as well as guidance on alternative non tourist areas. Each spot we were given extensive knowledge and history and soaked up the culture as much as we could. We were recommended one of the best traditional herbal massage which blew us away. 

Throughout the trip we never had to lift a finger, we got to stop and change our plan whenever we desired and our guide stopped in local areas to give us a chance to taste local cuisine.
