I have just returned from a 6 day escorted tour with Anthony from Ipha Lanka tours.Myself & my sister were visiting Sri Lanka for 10days and we came across Anthony via Tour HQ.Anthony himself kindly accepted our last minute booking and planned our 6 day itinerary giving us additional suggestions of places we should visit.

Anthony is very professional,personal & trustworthy.Anthony’s a busy family man & business man but being a native Sri Lankan he is so passionate to show tourists his country’s sights & he’s very knowledgable and is really into nature and photography.

We were collected by Anthony from Negombo and we commenced our 6 day tour at 8am Dambulla was our first stop.

Anthony everyday asked us to pick our agenda and what we felt like doing & seeing.We opted to change our minds as the tour progressed and that was no problem for Anthony.

Enroute to every place Anthony provided us with local facts about Sri Lanka areas,districts,birds and animals and about the different religions and cultures in different towns and cities that we drove through.

Anthony arranged local guides to escort us around the Dambulla caves & Kandy tooth relic.Anthony ensured that we had a jam packed agenda & that we were happy with our daily agenda.

Anthony himself was not only our chauffeur, guide but was also a great friend and even when our tour ended he offered his assistance if we needed anything before we flew home. In 6 days we covered at least 1000km of the Sri Lankan countryside starting in Negombo-Dambulla- Sigiriya -Habarana -Kandy - Nuwara Eliya -Ella -Yala-Marissa & our drop off with Anthony was in Weligama. Our tour was packed with a full day Yala Safari from 6am-6pm ,A half day elephant safari in Kaudulla & Minneriya National Parks.

Anthony climbed with with us early morning up Pidurangala rock to see sunset and look across at Lions Sigiriya rock & the views were amazing.We also visited Dambulla temples to see all the Buddhas, Kandy tooth of the relic,we got the famous train from Nuwara Eliya -Ella and Anthony escorted us to the platform ,minded our luggage and drove to Ella to collect us off the train & was on the platform to meet us!

In Ella Anthony brought us to Little Adam’s Peak and 9 Arch Bridge in time to water a train go past.

Anthony also escorted to the tea plantations & brought us on jungle safari for a full day around Yala national park in search for the Sri Lankan leopard.Anthony really went above and beyond to ensure we had fun & enjoyed all the amazing excursions that Sri Lanka has to offer.Anthony brought us to nice local and family run restaurants for our lunches and brought bottles of water for us too.

Anthony runs his tour company with his brother and friends and you really won’t be disappointed by booking with Anthony from IPHA Lanka Tours.Anthony’s tours are very reasonable priced and we were delighted that we opted to tour with Anthony as based on all the recommendations and reviews we read about him we weren’t disappointed and he really made our trip!

I would highly recommend touring with Anthony or any of his team of guides and drivers as we wouldn’t have got to see and do as much as we had without having Anthony’s local knowledge and help to plan & drive us all around the country of Sri Lanka.I would highly recommend Anthony and I will be recommending him to family and friends and hopefully I will be back to Sri Lanka again to join Anthony and his team for more Sri Lankan travels.

We are a family of 4 travelling for a year.  We decided to come and visit Sri Lanka and didn't know much about the country.  Our original plan was to rent our own car and self drive around the country but during our research we stumbled upon Tourhq and Anthony.  We  decided that the price for a guide, car and accomodations was too good to pass up and we booked, giving ourselves a little break from all the planning and research..

We don't usually commit to guides and tours but we are so glad we did.  We had 15 days with Anthony as our guide, and Anu as our driver.  We had suggested an itineary and Anthony made it happen, adjusting things along the way to make our experience as good as it could be.  He took care of everything, booked our hotels, got us to grocery stores for snacks (essential with kids), found good restuarants and showed us the sites.  We had a few days without Anthony, but he left  us in the capable hands of Anu and hired other guides for specific sites.  We enjoyed Anu's professional and friendly company and his excellent driving.  The van was always clean, there was always water to drink, and he always got us where we were going safely despite the crazy traffic, tuk tuks, cows, dogs, people and roads.  Anthony ensured our questions were always answered, that we got a real experience of his country and we had an excellent time.  He even adapted things when we ended up with two extra days before our flight and showed us even more!

Thank you to Anthony and Anu for sharing Sri Lanka with us.  We all have such good memories and now friendships as well!

I can highly recommend Anthony. I’ve booked three days mainly because I needed a lot of Transfer being done and got way more out of it. I would book again and also recommend to family and friends.

Anthony was a great guide for Sri Lanka.   A very nice and charming man, Anthony is only too happy to go out of his way to make your holiday plans easier and efficient.  The car was also very clean and spacious. 

But most of all, Anthony has great knowledge on Sri Lanka, with recommended itineraries for your stay.   Thanks Anthony, you gave me some great insight on the country and to plan my next trip!!  You really know your country :)

We stayed in Sigiriya for a short part of our honeymoon. We arranged a two day tour with Anthony. Once booked he was always available an always ready to answer any questions.
