I was alone only with Dambar and the porter and Dambar made the trip just perfect. We walked for 10 days up to ABC and he was pacient, helpful, resourceful, respectful, and he is always smiling which helps a lot when you are 4500 kms high and you feel alone in the midle of the World. I would definetly recommend travelling with Dambar as a guide.

Dambar was our guide in 2012 when we, a large group of 18 including 9 children reached Poon Hill. We loved it so much that we decided to go back the following year. He guided us safely to Namche Bazaar in 2013. Dambar took an excellent care of all of us and made sure we rest frequently. Highly recommend Dambar Thapa. He guided my two adult children and myself on treks to Annapurna and Everest Base Camps in October 2013. The organization of both treks was outstanding from coordinating our transportation, selecting tea houses and introducing us to Nepalese food and customs.

Dambar guided our huge group of parents and kids (5-9 years) in november 2012 (Pokhara - Poon Hill) and 2013 (Lukhla - Namche bazaar). He was fantastic in keeping our spirits up and making sure that everyone had a great time. I particularly appreciate how he was realistic and practical in planning the day treks and rest breaks to accommodate both the young and old in our group. Highly responsible chap. We cannot recommend him more!
