We did the 5D/4N tour in the Reserve Zone of the Manu National Park and it was an amazing experience! Moises was very friendly while being fun to be around and having an excellent knowledge of the jungle and all that it contains. Growing up in the jungle meant he could spot animals we had a hard time seeing even with binoculars. It was nice that he was excited about the animals himself, and he took extra effort to try to find animals we really wanted to see (in our case a sloth). He also brought his tripod-mounted monocular and set it up whenever there was something to see, so everyone could get a good look. His English was very good, not only for explanations but also for chatting in general. We thouroughly enjoyed our time and can recommend Moises as a guide for everyone looking to get an honest experience of the jungle!

We did a tour for 5 days in Manu NP. Moises was our guide. He is very friendly and tried to make everyone in the group feeling comfortable. He knows a lot about the jungle, about the people who live there, the plants and the animals. He also took into consideration that we are not used to the things (animals) in the jungle when we were a little bit scared at the night walk. After the trip Moises had sent us the pictures he made during the trip. We really recommend Moises!

Moises was an excellent guide. He was very sympathetic. His knowledge about the jungle was impressive. He knew about plants, birds, all mammals but also about problems the area is facing (e.g. conflicts between natives and tourists). I had the impression that we got a deeper insight into this ecosystem - not "only" with respect to the wildlife but also the people that live here. I was deeply impressed how Moises discovered animals in the bush (I am a birdwatcher myself and thought that I am not to bad at discovering things...). The atmosphere with Moises and also his Co-workers on the trip was always very relaxed and often very funny. I can only recommand this guide! He has good principles, is a nice guy and knows a lot about the jungle where he comes from.BTW: The pictures depict Moises at work (and not the trip....there would be lots of pictures of animals like Jaguar, 9 species of monkeys, lots of birds...)

I had an amazing time in Manu with our group. Moises could answer all my questions and was always willing to tell me more. He showed us the beautiful flora, made sure we saw the sometimes almost invisible fauna, gave us time to enjoy and take a lot of pictures, took his responsibilities but also made sure the group had a lot of fun. Next time I will definitely ask for him.
