Homestay Trekking

Reviewed September 29, 2016

Hello guys!

I travelled last july through Nepal for 1 month. Rajesh guided me 1 week1 during the homestay trekking through the Dhading Area. It was such a lovey time! He was such a funny and good guide! His English language was really good en he knew a lot about the areas we have been and about culture and history. Although the weather was not that nice (rainseason), I never got really bored. He knew always something to do. I really can recommend the Homestay Trekking. It is psychically not too heavy and the nature and surroundings are beautiful. He knew were to go! Also, if I needed a little help during the trekking, he was there before I even asked! If I would go to Nepal again, I would definitely chose Rajesh as guide!

Two wonderful trekkings

Reviewed December 15, 2015

In October my friend Anne and me did the Poon Hill trek for 5 days with our super friendly and trustable guide, Rajesh. He guided us through the beautiful nature and showed us views we didn't want to miss. For both of us, it was our first trek and we started a little bit nervous. But our nerves disappeared very fast because Rajesh gave us lots of trust for the trekking and a very comfortable feeling. He is very patient, honnest and has very strong social skills. He knows when to talk, to listen and to let you enjoy the silence of nature. It was a wonderful experience and it inspired us to do more trekkings in the future! After this, I was very curious to do the Dhading Home Stay trekking. So one month later, in November, I did the Home Stay trekking with Rajesh. It was a unique experience to stay with a very warm and lovely host family in the middle of the very peaceful nature. I got the chance to get to know how the local people work on the field and organize their lives. I loved the atmosphere there, it made me love Nepal even more than before. I can only recommand this to anyone who likes to spend time in the beautiful nature of Nepal!

A beautiful trekking through Dhading in Nepal

Reviewed February 19, 2015

My father and I went on a 5-day trekking through the beautiful Dhading area in Nepal. It was called a Home Stay Trekking where we stayed in the villages. Having Rajesh as our guide made the trekking comfortable and very interesting. He has patience and his general and specific knowledge about the area is very good. Rajesh is a pleasant person to have around you, he uses humor without judging. His English is very good, which makes it easy to communicate. He shares his knowledge and vision about subjects as the Nepali politics, culture, volunteering and is interested in your culture as well. It was a beautiful experience to be in an area where life is so different than we are used to. It makes you see things in a different perspective and sometimes it is overwhelming. I believe having Rajesh as our guide made this trekking complete.

Everything you need in a guide!

I went on a 14-day trekking through Manaslu; a very intensive, but even more beautiful district/mountain in Nepal. Stunning! A reason why my father and I were able to enjoy every moment of this trekking was because Rajesh was our guide. He is young and full of energy, but has the experience of an old man ;-) (anyway, he gives that feeling). Beside that he has a lot of respect for the nature, learned us a lot and has a lot of humor! Even when we had a problem with our Visa (which was not our fault), he led us to the correct persons etc. to solve the problem. I couldn't have had a better guide!

Guided by Rajesh through Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dhading

Reviewed February 16, 2015

Hi there! I’m Selma (25) and I was in Nepal for 1 month. I combined traveling with volunteerwork. Rajesh guided me in 1,5 week through the cities Kahmandu and Pokhara and the Dhading Area with a homestay trekking. I was very happy I had an excellent guide with me. His Englisch was really good, and he could also speak a little Dutch. Rajesh knew a lot about the history and the culture of the cities and the area. He knew all the good spots in Kathmandu and Pokhara and could tell a lot about the architecture and meanings of the several buildings; temples, stupas, statues, monasteries, caves, waterfalls for example. During the guiding he also could tell some riddles and jokes which was very funny and thereby varied! I was never bored with him! But he also could tell about the circumstances the people live and the underlying ideas of the vision of the culture. It was really nice to learn rational thinking in this way, so that I could empathize myself in this culture. The Homestay Trekking through the Area was the most beautiful experience to me. It was really special, because it was my first trekking, but also because Rajesh guided me there. He knew all the roads there and could tell a lot about the area, flora and fauna. I saw the simple kind of life here and people who were so easily happy. It was a pleasure to meet his family during the trekking, they were also very polite and nice to me! Rajesh estimated good and he was there for me when I needed help. I also didn’t have to worry if everything was organized, because he never failed me. That was a good and reliable feeling. He’s a very kind, funny, generous, intelligent, reliable, responsible and above all great guide! I don’t know what you want more in a guide?! So, I definitely would recommend Rajesh! Greetings, Selma
