Very knowledgeable guide

Reviewed December 2, 2022

I thoughoughly enjoyed the one day tour with Adrian. I'd recommend that, unless you're a WWII buff (which I am, but which the rest of my family was not), you consider just doing a  six hour tour of Omaha Beach and the private field in the vicinity where  a substantial German gun battery was excavated, and then end with the US cemetery at Coleville.  You can see Utah beach at a distance but you'll gain very little by going there. Adrian is a super-dedicated and passionate guide and could easily spend 12 hour days on his tours...but that will involve getting caught up in the weeds.  I would recommend Adrian to my friends, but would recommend that they have him stick to generalities and the big picture.

Delighted to have been of assistance and guide you around... yes there is so much to see and above all understand about the sacrifices of all involved. It does indeed take several days and anything less is skimming the surface. I agree ladies and children can gain a lot from understanding what their More

relatives went through for democracy and freedom! Less

One of the best tours ever

Reviewed March 2, 2020

I initially planned to spend one day touring the D Day beaches.  Adrian recommended more, as there was so much to see - and boy, was he right!  The day and a half that I spent with Adrian on both the British and American sectors was truly epic and is one of the great experiences I have had.  His knowledge of the individual stories and grand strategy, weapons, tactics and personalities made the whole period come alive.  To have stood on the beaches and to have seen what those brave men fought through was humbling and inspiring - made all the more so by Adrian.  He puts everything into the tour - and time sped by.  Our full day was from before 9am to after 630pm - only darkness slowed him down!  Thank you Adrian!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Normandy with Adrian. Knowledgeable about the strategic,  operational, and tactical aspects of Normandy  and WWII. He was engaging and incredibly informative. Was very efficient at showing the keys to the battles.

I did the two day tour with Adrian, and it was worth every penny. I learned so much that I didnt know, brought me to areas which I didnt know existed, and he helped me find information about my great-great uncle who was on Omaha beach. I cannot recommend Adrian more highly!
