I booked a tour with Ahmed around Tunisia on the 1st week of November. Ahmed welcomed me at the airport with Tunisian delights and dates! The trip run very smoothly due to Ahmed’s flexibility and willingness to show me his country. On my first day, I was taken to spend the afternoon and evening with Ahmed’s family. I felt very welcome, like a new member of his family, and was offered plenty of lovely food. His family is absolutely delightful and great fun. It was very insightful to spend time with Tunisian people and experience how they live. Ahmed is not an historian or an archaeologist; he provided some information during our visits but if you would like more history, I recommend booking a local guide for some of the locations (Ahmed can assist with this). I would have liked to gain more knowledge when I visited Dougga Roman ruins, but the local guide was not available on that day. Make sure you book one in advance if you are keen to have more historic facts. Ahmed was very attentive taking me to very nice restaurants with delicious food! He also went the extra mile to show me places not included in my tour and souvenir shopping

Hamdi was my tour guide for two days in Tunis. I visited the country for work, and I did not have too much free time to do some sightseeing, and contacting Hamdi was just perfect. He is a very nice person, willing at all times to comply with your interests. He is flexible, polite, friendly, good driver and very competent, who is willing to show the beauties of his country to visitors. A colleague joined the first day tour on the last minute, and Hamdi had no problem about this. He brought us a nice box of Tunisian sweets as a present the first day, which we really appreciated, and safely left me at the airport for my return trip on the second day. I highly recommend him for anybody who would like to visit the touristic (and non-touristic) sites of Tunisia in customised tour. I will surely contact him back if I ever come back to Tunisia.

We travelled to Tunisia in May and were delighted to have found Ahmed on TourHQ. Ahmed is an retired ex-military officer who's passion and love for Tunisia was so energetic. He's a very active man who jogs 10km daily! Our experience with Ahmed started even before our trip where he assisted me in planning meticulously how to plan our time in Tunisia. The best tour we've ever had! The tour's itinerary in combination with the tour guide's (Ahmed's) extensive knowledge and personable character made this tour one we will always remember. The tour was well planned and each day was both full of activities and allowed time to rest and relax. The ability to customise the tour was awesome and meant we could personalise the activities around our interests. But what really made this tour so great was our tour guide Ahmed. His caring nature and passion for Tunisia meant our trip was full of laughs and smiles. Highly reccomend this tour.
