Having traveled with tour guides in the past, I knew they are trained professionals. Raed is obviously highly trained and knowledgeable, but his enthusiasm and expertise in sharing his knowledge is unbounded. He loves his work and that shows in everything he does. If you travel Jordan without Raed (and you SHOULD travel Jordan), you're doing yourself a great disservice.

Had the trip of a lifetime , as a Christian this was a trip of a lifetime and it could not have been better guided than by our  friend Raed Haddad! Thank you and can't wait for our return trip! God bless you for what you do!

I was on a 10 day excursion with Mr. Haddad. From the moment I met him I was greeted with a gregarious smile and warmth that simply did not let up throughout the tour. 

His knowledge of the country, especially the Christian heritage sites, comes from not only his native status, but a deep understanding of biblical texts, a study of history and an immersion in the culture. 

His guidance comes not just from the head, babbling about ancient facts or conflicts. Rather, he guides from the heart, a true love for his country and a desire for every person to leave loving Jordan as he does. 

He commands respect with shopowners, guides, and other professionals -- you can see the way they treat him. He keeps his sheep away from danger, and helps navigate interpersonal conflicts. He is quick with a joke, or a light if you smoke. He's not the Piano Man, but Jordan's best tour guide.
