I traveled a lot but this trip was the best ever. Tim Smith from Wildside tours and safaris was our private guide for 7 days. The first days we stayed in Johannesburg and visited the Lions park and the Elephant park. Something I recommend doing before going to the Krugerpark. It was a big sensation to be able to touch the Lions,Cheetah,the Giraffes and the Elephants. The next day we went to the Krugerpark. We had a beautiful drive through the Long Tom Pass and Gods Window. Very exciting.While driving Tim talked very passionately about all his experiences in the Krugerpark. You just can’t wait to see it with your own eyes. Tim had arranged a private house for us on the border of the Krugerpark. A lovely house. At night we sat by the fire while Tim prepaired dinner. Zebras and Giraffes passing by while having a braai. The visits to the Krugerpark were awesome. Tim knows so much about the Wildlife that he brought us to the right places at the right time. How about 4 Lions lying on the road being satisfied after killing and eating a Buffalo. We were 2 meters away from the Lions. We had so much fun. Because of Tim we saw a lot of Wildlife and because of him we had a magical experience we can’t even describe. Tim is a very good photographer and made a lot of awesome pictures which we put on a usb stick to take home with us. We will cherish this experience forever. Thank you Tim. You are the best!! My daughter and I took the Wild Side tour with Tim on Saturday, May 30, 2015 and It was the most wonderful experience we ever had on a trip. Tim is very knowledgeable about wildlife, city's history and most importantly he was very protective of us. He made sure we were comfortable and safe at all times. I recommend anyone who is interested on having an adventurous, fun, and educational tour to contact Tim Smith. Unsere Zeit in Johannesburg war sehr kurz und dennoch wollten wir so viel wie möglich sehen. Unsere Wunschliste sah wie folgt aus: Lion Park, Lesedi Cultural Village, Walking with Elephants sowie Soweto. Die Abholzeit des ersten Tages sollte um 13:00 Uhr und die Rückkehr zu unserem Hotel nicht später als um 15:00 Uhr des zweiten Tages erfolgen. Alle unsere Wünsche wurden zu unserer Zufriedenheit, mit viel Charme, Witz und Fachwissen erfüllt. Auch wenn die Zeit sehr kurz war, haben wir uns nie gestresst gefühlt. Tim hat das Maximale aus unserer minimalen Zeit herausgeholt. Tim, thank you for the great time and see you next time in Johannesburg

I am from the UK and here for business. I wanted to see the 'real!' Johannesburg. The hotel recommended Tim and after speaking to him on the phone I booked up for the following day. Tim picked me up from my hotel. Just got back and I have to say the tour was excellent and Tim was the perfect guide. The speed of the tour, what we visited, his friendly and informative discussion, his passion for SA and the people - all made for a truly wonderful day.
