We booked Luisa a few weeks before our day going to the Vatican. She was regularly in touch to  explain the plan for the tour, where and when to meet , and answer our questions. She texted on the morning of the visit to confirm everything and was waiting for us when we arrived. She quickly got our measure in terms of the way we like things to be explained, and most importantly, the pace we wanted to take everything (not too quickly with a few rest breaks thrown in). From then on she gave us exactly the day we were hoping for. Luisa is very knowledgeable but more importantly she didn't just throw facts at us, she made it fun. She got us to really look at things and pointed out details that we would otherwise have missed but which brought everything to life. She was really generous with her time, and we are so grateful to her for making our day with her so enjoyable. 

Luisa is knowledgeable, organized, friendly, and accommodating.

We worked out our tour schedule before arriving in Rome. When we made some last-minute changes, it wasn't a problem.

Luisa also helped us with dinner reservations, finding a laundromat, and finding a COVID test site open on a Sunday.

We had a wonderful three and a half days together.

I recommend Luisa to anyone wanting a guide in Rome, someone who is knowledable, professional and good company. If you take Luisa for your guide you will not be disappointed. 

We engaged Luisa to be our guide for a day during our short break to Rome this December 2018. She began to organise the day before we departed and made sure that we arrived fully prepared for our day with her. We met at the entrance to the Vatican museum and, thanks to her organisation, we avoided the lines and went straight in. This was typical of the whole day. Throughout the Vatican tour she gave us a continual stream of history, interpretation and  information on everything we saw. Her vigilance ensured that we were not caught out by any of the unscheduled closures that were sprung during the day.  Because of this we caught the highlights and were able to see all we wanted before the Basilica was closed for a cermoney. In fact it gave us the oportunity to get photograhs in the Baslilca and St Peters Square with no tourists in shot, a rarity! She arranged a personal shopper for my partner and also arranged acess to the workshop to see how and  where many of the gifts are created. Luisa had offered to arrange a car and driver if we wanted to move around a lot during the day but agreed that taxis are so available that it was a better option for us, her whole focus was on what we wanted. So after an excelllent lunch with large and delicious pizzas, of course she would know the best and most reasonable restaraunts, we took a short taxi ride to the Colosseum. Once there luisa again demonstrated her encyclodedic knowledge of the history of the place and the people who used it. She also persuaded security to let these two elderly people use the elevator so we didn't have to climb all the stairs to get to the top, a welcome bonus!

At the end of the day we felt that we had spend the day with a good friend as Luisa was not only good at her job but was excellent company as well. 

We went exploring the next day on our own and missed her guidance and input, I sincerely wish that we had her with us for two days rather than just one.

We are recommending Luisa to our friends and anyone contemplating a trip to the city.

Luisa was our guide for the Rome Food&Wine tour and we can not imagine a better way to get to know the city and many unique eateries.  She was informative, gracious and very good at making sure that we were able to get the value from the time with her. 

 A month before we arrived in Rome we  contacted  Luisa and i requested a certan type of Tour and a certan type of Hotel in Rome and Luisa gave us the name of a Hotel ,

 It was called Grand Hotel De La Minerva, on Piazza della Minerva,

 Our rooms where 5 Star also we requested to have 2  ajoining rooms always When i travel with my son i book 2 Ajoining rooms just for that extra comfort you pay extra for the 2 rooms let me tell its worth it when your on Holidays,

Luisa Also arranged a VIP Car and Driver  for us for the 2 day tour, Having the Private Car on a Tour is Just the

 Best !!!!  The Driver drops you of and when ever you want to leave he's their to pick you up and go to your next destination and on our tour there was no time limit at each stop so it didnt get boring at all during the Tour,

Luisa was always incontact with us by Phone and Email before and after the 2 day tour we did with louisa,

We had Lunches at very good eateries between louisa and Emanuele the driver they really know how to get around in 

Rome and luisa speeks english very well and italian very well so do we,

Their was never a dout or a problem on the 2day Tour also never a dout or a problem with Luisa or Emanuele the driver

it was just perfect ,

I have no regrets with the cost involved it was worth every single dollar and more ,
