My husband, sister, brother-in-law and I were excited about our Explore Trip to Laos, "Spirit of Laos" because we knew that it would be a trip of lifetime! We were met by Soun, our tour leader at the hotel in Bangkok with his warm Review welcoming smile, and we knew immediately we would be taken on an adventure to remember! Soun was an excellent guide in so many ways. He was very personable - day 1 - he shared his remarkable life story - which for us on tour made this trip so much more meaningful! His love of his country was genuine and travelling with someone who knew and understood the people and the land was so helpful. There were many long travel days with sparse accommodations at times, but Soun's sense of humour, strong organization skills and positive attitude kept the group going! Soun was not only an excellent guide, but a great person! His personal touch to get to know his tour group as well as his ability to share his own life experiences makes him top notch!!!!!! I was one of a group of 15 to travel around this beautiful and relaxing country on an Explore tour, expertly led by Soun. He delivered quite a challenging itinerary in a professional and highly organised way but he was much more than just a tour leader. He brought a fascinating personal angle to the trip and became a friendly and interesting companion- someone I would hope to keep in touch with. He was always keen to ensure we all got the most we could from our time in his country that he clearly loves- though he was not guilty of painting an over-rosy picture and we had some interesting discussions.

Soun was a great guide. He was enthusiatic about both his country and the people who visit it. He knew all the best things to do and see, plus the best places to eat. I highly recommend him!!!

Soun was brilliant in every way. His unfailing good humour, knowledge and understanding of his country shone through. His organisational skills were excellent and he treated everyone in the group equally.

Nothing was too much trouble for Soun, worked non-stop to make our trip a success and was informative and also great fun to be with.
