I was shown around kolkata recently by Bratati and I would have no hesitation recommending her as a guide . Bratati was very professional , well organised and has a wealth of knowledge about the city that she was more than willing to share with me . In addition I found her to be a warm genuine person and I really enjoyed exploring the city with her . 

I visited Kolkata in April with two large groups from Ireland.I contacted Bratati to design a custom tour for our groups.It was an incredible experience.She is so dedicated to being a guide and became a wonderful friend to all who travelled in my group.She listened very carefully to our requirements and designed a program that was excellent.She is so knowledgable about the city and its people and is incredibly patient with every one of her tourists.If you are bringing a group to Kolkata or travelling alone then you really must get her as your guide because she will make a good trip amazing.I recommend her without hesitation and I am booking her for my return trip. I had only one day in Kolkata and Bratati took me on a fantastic guided tour around the city. We took in all the major sights, important buildings and the book and central markets, had a pleasant walk along by the River Ganges and also went to some lesser known parts of the city. There were some food destinations I wanted to visit and Bratati took me there where she joined me to eat. She had also arranged the airport transfer the previous evening and also a car for the tour. Bratati is charming, easy to chat to and very knowledgeable. That day I learnt a lot about Kolkata and its history. All is all a first class guide and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
