Three Days of Pure Fun in Shanghai! What an absolute blast we had with Jin! From the very first moment, she wasn’t just our guide—she felt like a friend showing us all the cool, hidden corners of Shanghai. Jin has this magical way of making every moment special—whether it’s laughing together while trying new foods or getting lost (in the best way!) in the little lanes of Zhujiajiao. Her energy, stories, and love for her city are infectious, and we soaked up every bit of it. We also loved how she noticed all the small things and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel both at home and on an adventure at the same time. Thank you, Jin, for three unforgettable days. We’re already dreaming of crossing paths again—maybe in Belgium next time!

On a recent trip to Shanhai , we were escorted by our wonderfl guide Jin Xu. She was a fantastic companion for the day with a wealth of local knowledge of the city , its history and how to get about the city. Although our time together was short, Jin made the day a treat for the eyes. I would highly recomend her to anyone travelling to Shanghai. phanghai

I recommend Jin as a guide. It’s very easy to communicate with her, she is very open and adapt the tour in fonction of the wishes of the visitor. She has a deep knowledge of the history and the local culture. In addition she knows many local places out of the touristic areas and propose to discover them.

I had picked Jin Xu from a number of TourHQ options for a private tour since her written English was very clear. On a Friday evening, Jin showed me around the former French Concession area in Shanghai and ordered food for us at a local restaurant. We then visited the beautiful Yu Gardens, all lit up for the upcoming New Years celebrations. I appreciated that Jin spelled out the English meaning of the things we saw along the way. The next morning we stepped on a high-speed train from Shanghai to Suzhou, about a 35 minutes ride, to see the lovely Humble Administrator garden. It was busy by the time we arrived but doable. Jin was able to explain the names, meanings and backgrounds of all the different pavilions and places in the garden, which was very nice. We ate lunch ("mandarin fish", a local specialty) at a nice restaurant before taking a Taxi to beautiful Tiger Hill with a pagoda and surroudning park. Coming back to downtown, we took a leisurely stroll between the various artsy and touristy shops of Pingjiang road before heading back to Shanghai. Jin's verbal and written communication in English was good, and she was well-prepared for the trip. She showed a good aptitude for organizing the trip and she went out of her way making sure everything went smoothly, including purchasing upfront tickets. I would not hesitate to hiring her services again. She was able to provide me with a really good personal viewpoint of living in Shanghai a Suzhou and their cultures. Thank you!
