Arrive in Guwahati by air.
Meet the guide at the airport and drive to Nameri National Park and check into Eco-Camp near the Assam- Arunachal Pradesh border. (Eco camp has comfortable double bedded tents with a thatched roof canopy).
In the afternoon, trek near to the camp / outside Nameri National Park if time permits. Wildlife found in the region: deer, wild elephant, wild buffaloes and numerous species of birds.
Have dinner and overnight at Eco-camp.

Eagle Nest is famous for its rich bird’s diversity. Eagle Nest ranges from 500 meters (1,640 ft) to 3,250 meters (10,663 ft) above sea level and covers an area of 218 Sq.km. Over 700 species of birds are known from a 100 kilometers region centered on Eaglenest.
Vegetation Type: Lowland evergreen forest, broad-leaved forest, bamboo, conifers; roadside scrub and farmland - all these in both subtropical and temperate latitudes.

The terrain of the park is situated on the floodplain of river Brahmaputra River famous for its big 5– world’s largest population of one-horned Rhino, Wild Asiatic Water Buffalo, Swamp Deer, Royal Bengal Tiger, and Asiatic Elephant. Apart from these five, Kaziranga contains a significant breeding population of 35 mammalian species of which 15 are threatened as per the IUCN red list. At the same time, the park supports rich and varied bird life, a birdwatcher’s paradise and home to 25 globally threatened and 21 near-threatened birds. So far, 490 birds species have been recorded including a large variety of migratory birds.
