One can develop their skills, gain experience by working alongside skilled craft person and see how the prints are hand made with small wooden blocks.

    At the end of the workshop, you will learn:

    • To see some of the plants and bushes, parts of which are used for printing & dyeing.
    • How vegetable dyes work.
    • How to do Sanganeer printing (using natural dyes).
    • How to make colourfast naturally.
    • To start your own hands-on printing experience, you may select a carved wooden block from the available blocks. You will be able to print one piece of a cotton scarf (provided in the program kit) under the supervision of the senior craft person. You will work on the Sanganeer printing technique.

  • Transport: contact us for an arrangement of a pool car (pick-up and drop-off from Jaipur city)

  • Transport for 2 people is excluded, but if there is a booking for more than 2 persons, the company will provide the transportation as a complementary add-on if notified previously
