This tour gives the opportunity to explore and know more about various religions in India. This tour includes the following temples:

    • Meet the tour guide from the hotel, and begin the tour from ISKCON (International Sri Krishna Consciousness) Temple, sitting atop the Hare Krishna Hill in East of Kailash. Dedicated to Lord Krishna, the entire premises echoes with the angelic chant of the Hare Rama, Hare Krishna with the beat of Mridangam.

    • The next stop is the beautiful Lotus Temple, which belongs to the Bahá'í religion. Admire its lotus-shaped structure (photography is a must here) and sit in silence inside the hall to do some meditation. Read some books to know more about Bahá'í religion.

    • Head to Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, which is a humble tribute to Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781- 1830). The traditionally-styled complex with more than 200 statues is a masterpiece created by skilled artisans and volunteers.

    • Now begin the tour of Old Delhi, which is home to the famous Jama Masjid, also known as Masjid-i Jahān-Numā. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656, the courtyard can accommodate more than 25,000 persons; no wonder it is one of the largest mosques in India.

    • Take a joy ride in the Old Delhi lanes on a rickshaw, and visit Gurudwara Sisganj. Spend some time here and see the Gurudwara that has witnessed the unfortunate event of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's martyrdom.

    • From SisGanj Temple, walk up to the historic Red Fort, the most important monument of the city. The residence of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty for nearly 200 years, this is the place where, on the Independence Day of India (15 August), the Prime Minister hoists the Indian "tricolor flag".

    • The next destination is the Buddhist Temple or Maha Bodhi Society of India in Mandir Marg. The temple has beautiful a gold polished Buddha idol.

    • Just next to the Buddhist temple is the Birla Temple, dedicated to Laxmi (the Goddess of Prosperity) and Narayana (The Preserver). Spend some time here and take some good pictures.

    • Our last stop is the ancient Hanuman Temple, which has a self-manifest idol of Hanuman as the presiding deity. It is also a popular place for women for Mehandi (temporary henna tattoos).
