• Have breakfast, followed by a pickup and drive to Nimo (30 min ride), the starting point of the walk. The walk will start from the main Leh-Srinagar highway for about 5 mins and will turn left into the village road where you will hardly find any traffic. Leave the highway, and learn about the brief history of the village. 

• Continue walking gradually through the lush green fields and old traditional Ladakhi houses inspired by the Tibetan architecture. See lots of local people working on the field and waving at you. The best part about a village life is that people here are very simple and welcoming.

• Head to a Monastery at the village, which was recently renovated. Cross the stream on the way and go over to the eastern side of the village where you will stop and visit one of the local family. Have local lunch, butter tea and local beer with the family. 

• Spend some time in a garden learning about the local crops from a local farmer. 

• Walk towards the ending point of the walk. 

  Drop back to your hotel.
