  • Day 1: Shillong - Sohra expand_more
    • Meet your tour guide and visit Sohra, one of the most beautiful parts of Meghalaya. There are many wonderful places to see in Sohra, and around, the drive from Shillong to Sohra will take almost the entire day, even though the distance is very less. By the end of the day, you would have visited the following places:
      • Elephant falls: It is a two-tier waterfall in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. The mountain stream descends through two successive falls set in dells of fern-covered rocks. 
      • Mawphlang Sacred Grove: It is one of the biggest Sacred Groves in Meghalaya. It is a well-preserved forest by the local community. Nothing can be taken out from the forest as this is being protected by the local deities(U Ryngkew U Basa).
      • Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint: Situated very close to the Sohra tourist circuit, it is one of the famous places in Cherrapunjee to enjoy the natural beauty.
      • Arwah Caves: At a distance of 3.5 km from Cherrapunji Bus Stand, Arwah Cave is a vast cave located in the Khliehshnong area of Cherrapunji in Meghalaya. 
      • Nonkalikhai Falls: It is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is 340 metres. The waterfall is located in the Indian state of Meghalaya, near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth.

  • Day 2: Trekking to Double Decker Living Root Bridge expand_more
    • Today is going to be one of the most interesting days of your Meghalaya Trip. You will be walking to the bio-engineering marvel, also known as the living root bridge or Jingkieng Nongriat (double-decker living root bridge). The trek to the double-decker living root bridge starts from a village named Tyrna that will guide you through quaint villages, natural turquoise pools, and gorgeous vegetation. At a brisk pace, it will take you more than an hour to reach the double-decker living root bridge. 
    • Once there, spend your time lazing around at the natural pool near the root bridge. Explore the area at your own pace and then start your walk back. 
    • Remember, lunch in Nongriat will have to be either snacks and energy bars that you carry or simple noodles or local food available there.
    • Return to spend an evening at a homestay in Nongriat.
  • Day 3: Trekking Rainbow Falls expand_more
    • After breakfast, early in the morning, start the trek to Rainbow water by climbing through the forest in an hour and then back to the natural blue swimming pool.
    • Head back to the homestay for the trek back to Sohra Rest.   
  • Day 4: Sohra - Mawlynnong via Dawki expand_more
    • Start at leisure today and visit Mawlynnong Village after breakfast. Famously known as Asia’s cleanest village, Mawlynnong is a quaint village tucked on a small hill overlooking Bangladesh. 
    • But before we head there, we will take a detour towards the India – Bangladesh border at Dawki.
    • Go boating on the transparent waters (not included) and have your lunch on a river island of the Umngkot River. 
    • From there, you will visit the Tamabil border post before heading back to the Mawlynnong village for the night. 

    Optional stay at Shillong.

  • Day 5: Explore Shillong expand_more
    • Visit Don Bosco Museum, Umiam Lake, and Laitlum Canyoning.
    • Take in the beautiful Shillong peak views of Shillong city
