Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi expand_more
Arrive in the holy city and transfer to your place of accommodation.
Relax during the day since the evening holds surprises for you. It will be your first interaction with the Ganges in Varanasi and life along the holy river. You will participate in a ceremony that is very energetic, illuminating, and powerful.
Completing the ceremony, return to the place of accommodation and have dinner. If interested, you can have dinner outside in a good restaurant as well.

Day 2: Varanasi & Sarnath expand_more
Have an energetic and enlightening start to the day by going for an early morning boat ride. Though the landscape is the same, the experience is totally different.
Return to your hotel for breakfast, or if you are comfortable, you can taste the local traditional breakfast of the city.
Proceed to visit some temples and a 100-year-old university.
Head back to hotel for lunch, with some time to relax.
Proceed to the birthplace of Buddhism, the small town of Sarnath.
