Description

Set out on a leisurely, 3-hour stroll through Jaipur. Here, you will get to see life from the eyes of a local as you walk through the very streets and alleyways as they do.     The highlights of this walking tour that begins from Golecha Theatre, are:

    • Explore the geometrically precise architecture of the city and learn about the significance of its entry gates.

    • Leave the main lanes and enter the gullies of Jaipur’s famous Quadrants: Modikhana.

    • Visit a street inhabited by a community of metal beaters called 'Thatheras'.

    • Witness temples that are less-explored by travellers. 

    • See a community well and women collecting water for the day's use. 

    • Observe the art of Bangle baking through sealing wax.

    • Share a chit-chat session over a hot cup of tea and traditional savouries with a local family.

    • Visit an Ayurveda Hospital specializing in issues related to the spine.

    • Lastly, visit an ancient temple located under a 300-year-old tamarind tree.
