Embark on this 10-day journey to experience the wonderful attractions of Rajasthan and explore some of the region's most culturally rich and historically significant highlights. The odyssey begins in the capital city, Delhi, a bustling metropolis seamlessly blending the ancient and the contemporary eras. After taking a turn towards the world-famous symbol of love, the Taj Mahal in Agra, the journey concludes in Udaipur, often called the Venice of the East.

  • Day 1 - Arrival at Delhi Airport expand_more
    • Arrive at Delhi Airport, meet and greet your tour guide and then transfer to your hotel in a comfortable way. 

    Check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the time free to get rid of jet lag.

  • Day 2- Delhi- Local Sightseeing expand_more
    • This morning, post breakfast, we will do a full-day tour of old and New Delhi. A bustling metropolis that is in fact really two distinct cities- the colourful Bazaars and Mughal Architecture of old Delhi contrasting with the formal splendour of Lutyens New Delhi. 
    • In Old Delhi, visit the Jama Mosque, built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. Drive past Red Fort and then experience a Bicycle rickshaw ride through busy Chandani Chowk and a short walk through Asia's biggest spice market.
    • On the way to New Delhi, we will pay our homage to the great person Mahatma Gandhi by visiting his cremation place, Raj Ghat.
    • Afterwards, in New Delhi, check out Qutab Minar, a 239 ft sandstone tower in an Indo-Islamic architecture wonder of mediaeval India. Also, visit Humayun Tomb, one of the most spectacular Mughal mausoleums. Built by Haji Begum, widow of second Mughal emperor Humayun.
    • Later, return back to your hotel.
  • Day 3 - Drive Delhi - Agra (220 kms, 4 hrs) expand_more
    • After breakfast, start your journey to Agra. Agra is an architectural wonder on the bank of river Yamuna that has always inspired poets and lovers throughout the world !! The city of Agra is truly a tourist's delight when it comes to historical monuments, extraordinary Mughal architecture and much more. 
    • On arrival, check in to the hotel. Late afternoon, a visit to the Agra fort, which was originally planned as an impregnable military structure by Akbar. We will witness the Taj Mahal at sunset time and admire the beauty of this white marble monument. The Taj Mahal is regarded as one of the most beautiful monuments in the world. It is a legendary architecture. A tribute by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal, an inspiration for all the lovers in the world. 
    • Before returning to the hotel, we will visit the Marble inlay workshop, where one can see the inlay work on marble and understand why the Taj Mahal took 22 years. 

    Spend the night at the hotel. 

  • Day 4 - Drive Agra - Jaipur (250 kms, 5 hrs) expand_more
    • This morning, post breakfast, we will drive to Jaipur. 
    • En route, we will visit Fatehpur Sikri, built of red sandstone during the second half of the 16th century by the emperor Akbar. 
    • We will continue to Jaipur, the largest city of Rajasthan, established in 1727, and India's first planned city, also known as the pink city. Jaipur is not only known for its amazing beautiful monuments but for its exquisite handicrafts and spectacular handmade jewellery in semi-precious and precious stones. 
  • Day 5- Jaipur- Local Sightseeing expand_more
    • This morning we will visit Amer Fort, built in 1592 to 1700. Within its walls, we will see a four-level plan, with each level having a courtyard. It is an opulent palace complex built with local stones and marble. In the afternoon, we will visit the city palace and museum, which lies in the heart of Jaipur city. This sprawling Complex, with its vast array of courtyards, gorgeous buildings, textiles and costumes, is unparalleled. Later we will visit the Jantar-Mantar, built between 1727 and 1734, which has a collection of architectural and astronomical instruments. 
    • This evening, experience the art of cutting gem stones, designing jewellery, and handblock printing on fabrics and dresses.
  • Day 6- Drive Jaipur - Jodhpur (330 kms, 7 hrs) expand_more
    • This morning, post breakfast, we will start a long drive to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is popularly known as Blue City. It's a desert city in Rajasthan. The city is known for its massive Mehrangarh fort and beautiful local streets. Although it's the second biggest city in Rajasthan, one can easily see how traditional people of this city are even in modern days. 

    Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.

  • Day 7- Jodhpur- Local Sightseeing expand_more
    • This morning, we will visit first the most opulent, massive fort. Constructed back in the 15th-16th century on a hilltop. The architectural elements are so rich here that stone carvings also appear like wooden carvings. Here one can understand the valour and bravery of the Rajput rulers and their women. This fort has been filmed in many Bollywood and some Hollywood movies, too. 
    • After the fort visit, we will have a walk through the narrow and colourful lanes of old Jodhpur. Jodhpur is a hub of antique handicrafts of wood, camel bones, and metal artefacts. The Blue City was a major point of the Silk route in the olden days. By visiting one warehouse you can understand the legacy of art collectors and their skilful collections. 

    Spend the rest of the evening at leisure. 

  • Day 8- Drive Jodhpur - Udaipur (275 kms, 6 hrs) expand_more
    • This day post breakfast, we will drive to Udaipur. En route, will visit Ranakpur Jain Temples. This beautiful religious monument is a marvel in the architecture of Rajasthan. One can always be surprised after visiting this rich temple of Jains. 
    • Continue driving to Udaipur. Udaipur was founded in the year 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh-ll after his final unsuccessful attempt to defend the Mewar capital, Chittorgarh, from the invading Mughals under Akbar. The Kingdom of Mewar was considered the most respectable among all princely states in Rajasthan and is still remembered for its courage in protecting its prestige.  It is set on the edge of three lakes. Undoubtedly one of the most romantic cities in India, its beautiful palaces are mirrored in the calm waters of Lake Pichola.
  • Day 9 - Udaipur- Local Sightseeing expand_more
    • This morning, we will enjoy the City Palace. It is one of the architectural marvels in Rajasthan. The palace has various towers, domes and arches, which add to its charm. Rare murals on the walls and ceilings, glass inlay work, original paintings, artefacts, and personal belongings of the rulers are on display in their original palace.

    • After a visit to the city palace, we will enjoy a boat ride in Lake Pichola and admire the beauty of palaces in the middle of the Lake and on the banks.  

    • Later in the evening, we will continue with a demonstration of the famous art of miniature painting, with their intricate and delicate brushwork, giving them their unique identity. 

    Overnight stay at hotel. 

  • Day 10- Udaipur - Onwards Journey expand_more
    • Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and fly from Udaipur with a bag full of lifetime memories and experiences.

  • This tour is for everyone, with a great mix of several things. Let your guide know the exact number of travellers before booking, as transport is based on Toyota Innova ( accommodate four pax maximum and two pax in plenty of spacious ways).
