Day 1- Shangarh - Sara Lake expand_more
Connect with your tour guide in Shangarh to start the program.
Walk through the eco-zone of GHNP, the gentle gradient at the beginning of the trek.
Learn about Shangarh, an awesome village naturally clear from any trees or bushes despite the proximity of an invasive forest.
Pay a visit to the temple that lies at the extreme north of the ground. Be blessed by the local deities.
Eat lunch consisting of (stuffed Indian bread) paratha, pickle, fresh local fruits, toffee, and chocolates. The scenery remains stunning, and you are far from any civilization.
Unwind with high tea in the evening: soup, tea/coffee and biscuits.
Enjoy a bonfire and Natti dance by staff.
Savour dinner around bonfire consisting of starters, main course, and sweet dish.
Enjoy stargazing.

Day 2- Sara lake - Shangarh expand_more
Eat breakfast consisting of paratha, bread jam-butter, tea/coffee/milk, and fresh fruits/eggs.
Go on a morning walk around the lake, which would be a time you would never forget. The early morning breeze will leave you amazed.
Have a very steep descent through a dense forest from the lake.
Finish 800 m of descending, and you finally reach the small village.
Savour your packed lunch consisting of roti and sabzi with salad.
Trek ends.

The trek starts from the holy meadow of Shangarh, marked by an old yet beautiful temple in the north.
- Absolute prohibitions within GHNP
- No firearms, weapons, bows and arrows, or firecrackers
- No kindling fires (except cooking fires) or smoking.
- No shouting, teasing or chasing wild animals.
- No molesting or feeding animals.
- No electronic radios, tape recorders, speakers (except within a rest house and only at a low pitch).
- No parties.
- No fishing or hunting.
- No damaging or removal of any wildlife tree, display signs or the boundary marks of the park/sanctuary.
