Journey From Jerusalem-Dead Sea- Masada expand_more
Make an early start (3: 45 am - 4. 30 am) from your accommodation in Jerusalem. Drive for one and a half hours to the Dead Sea area
Walking tour of Masada - take either the short or long route. Climb up to Masada at dawn from the eastern Snake Path (optional).
Drive towards Arad (2 and half hours drive from Jerusalem) to reach the Roman Camp (optional). Enjoy a cable car ride.
Options: Breakfast or Snack at Masada OR Ein Gedi at Kibbutz Ein Gedi.
Visit Ein Gedi Kibbutz, with its internationally recognized Botanical Garden. Ein Gedi National Park also includes an ancient synagogue.
Option: Visit and swim in David's Fall Pool, Dead Sea Beach/Dead Sea Spa (float in the Dead Sea, Mud Packs and massage).
Option: Admire the panoramic views of the desert monastery, Qasr el Yahud - the traditional location of Jesus's baptism by John the Baptist in the Jordan River.
