Day 1: Kualanamu Airport - Lake Toba expand_more
Arrive at Kualanamu airport and meet with your local guide
Drive to Lake Toba via Pematang Siantar, stopping by the big Statue of Kwan at the Kwan Temple.
Go on a relaxing ferry ride to Samosir Island and check in at your hotel there.

Visit the King Stone Grave, a Royal graveyard containing tombs decorated with Batak tribal carvings & a circle of stone chairs.
Go to Tomok village, which is well-known as the gateway to Samosir. Here, you can find the sarcophagus, the big stone chieftain of Sidabutar.
Get your toes wet at the Parbaba Mountain beach and Sigaretten Lake and take in the beautiful sights.
Drive back to your hotel.

Check out from your hotel and cross the lake to the mainland of Sumatra.
Drive to Berastagi.
On the way, stop at Simarjarunjung Hill, Sipiso Piso waterfall (120m), the fruit market and Gundaling Hill to see spectacular sunset views.
