  • Day 1: Makassar - Toraja expand_more
    • Pick-up from the Makassar Hasanuddin airport by a tour representative and drive directly to Toraja land. The trip from Makassar to Toraja land will take 9 hours. Stops will be made once for lunch and coffee breaks.

    • Stop for lunch in Pare-Pare.

    • After lunch, continue to Enrekang. Stop in Enrekang for a coffee break while enjoying the spectacular view.

    • In the afternoon, arrive in Toraja.

  • Day 2: Toraja Culture Tour expand_more
    • After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on the first day of the Toraja culture tour. 

    • First, visit Lemo, the stone grave on the wall with high rocks with wooden statues on the grave balcony.

    • See Kambira, the baby grave inside the living tree, Londa.

    • Next, see a natural cave hanging coffins with bones and skulls around the cave - Karuaya & Tampangallo.

    • Afterwards, visit Kete Kesu, a tourist village in the Tana Toraja region known for its traditional customs. Observe the life of the community in this region.

    • Also, see the majestic grave of nobles.

    • In the afternoon, drive back to the hotel.

  • Day 3: Short Trek into the Torajan Village expand_more
    • After breakfast, set out for the next Toraja tour in the morning. 

    • First, visit Bori, an ancient Megalithic stone in the ring field.

    • Visit Palawa, an old village with long rows of traditional houses.

    • See Tinimbayo Hill, a small hill with thousands of terraced rice fields.

    • Next, go on a short trek for 3 hours into the Torajan village, passing rice fields, sightseeing, and enjoying spectacular views.

    • Note: In a 2-day Toraja tour, there's a chance to witness a funeral ceremony carried out by locals to get a better understanding of their culture.
  • Day 4: Back to Hasanuddin Airport expand_more
    • After breakfast, drive from the hotel to transfer to Makassar airport to catch the flight to the next destination.
