Day 1: Berau - Bena Baru - Meras expand_more
Upon arrival at Berau from the airport or Harbour Tanjungredeb, meet your tour representative.
Transfer by car directly to Benua Baru Dayak Kayan village.
Welcome by a Dayak ceremony, followed by an exploration of the Dayak arts of Benua Baru, with extraordinary and vibrant designs, statues, and characteristic flowing geometrical patterns used in portraying scenes of jungle life using Chinese and Vietnamese Dong Son influences.
Observe a woman with long ears and tattoos that can be found here as one of the last memorable Dayak Culture signs in the rapidly changing Kalimantan environment.
Late afternoon, continue driving to Merasa Village.
Stay overnight at a local guesthouse with a simple dinner.

Day 2: Merasa Orangutan - Lesan Dayak expand_more
After breakfast, visit Pulau Bawan, the orangutan island in the Lesan River.
Sail downstream by canoe for around 30 minutes.
Later, go on a short jungle trek, upon the field condition, possibility to the waterfall.
Explore old Dayak grave and limestone cave.
Lunch En route in a village.
Catch a motor-canoe upstream Lesan River for about 2 hours; enjoy the scenery of the river banks filled with tranquil greenery of lowland and towering dipterocarps trees, which remark as the start of getting into the dark Borneo Jungle.
During the cruise, one might spot various wildlife, from otters, monkeys, to birds species.
Late afternoon, arrive in Lesan Dayak Village. Meet localhost.
Stay overnight at a local guesthouse with a simple dinner.

Day 3: Lesan Dayak Village - Berau expand_more
After a simple breakfast at the local guest house, explore the region further before departing for Berau.
See the protected primary forest of Lesan (Hutan Lindung Sungai Lesan) to search for orangutans and other wildlife creatures.
After that, return to Lesan Dayak village.
After lunch, return by car to Berau. (3-hour drive)
Late afternoon, arrive at the hotel in Berau and check-in.
Prepare for your next destination.
