Description
Take a 4-day vacation and trek across Ijen and Malang. Trek to summit and crater of Mt Ijen to watch the sunrise. From here, drive to Cemorolawang. Hike up Mt Penanjakan to watch the sun rising above Mt Bromo. On the same day, go down to the base of the Caldera, around Mt Bromo, Mt Widodaren to the village of Ranupane. Also, trek to the crater lake of Ranu Kumbolo.

Day 1: Meeting Service - Paltuding expand_more
Meeting service in Surabaya/Probolinggo/Ketapang ferry berth.
Pick up by minibus.
Drive to Ijen highland.

Day 2: Paltuding - Cemorolawang expand_more
01.30 am - Arrive at Paltuding. Park the car. Prepare to hike up the Ijen crater.
02.30 am - Hike up the Ijen crater rim.
04.00 am - Arrive at Ijen crater rim, continue hike down the crater.
04.30 am - Arrive at the crater. Take many pictures and enjoy the scenery.
05.30 am - Hike up the Ijen crater rim. Continue hike down to Paltuding.
07.00 am - Arrive at Paltuding, rest time, breakfast at Warung.
09.00 am - Drive to Ngadisari, Cemorolawang.
02.00 pm - Arrive at Cemorolawang and rest. Lunch and dinner at Warung.
Stay overnight at yoga or Villa Udin.

Day 3: Cemorolawang - Ranu Kumbolo expand_more
02.00 am - Drive to Seruni point. Park the car, hike up the Seruni trail to Mt. Penanjakaan, 2700 m asl.
04.00 am - Arrive at Mt. Penanjakan. Watch sunrise.
06.30 am - Return to Cemorolawang. Breakfast.
08.00 am - Drive down to the base of the Tengger caldera by 4x4 Toyota land cruiser, around Mt. Bromo, Mt. Widodaren, up to Jemplang intersection, then down to the vast farming village of Ranupane.
10.00 am - Arrive at Ranupane, rest time, lunch break at Tasrip homestay.
11.00 am - Trek to Ranu Kumbolo.
03.00 pm - Arrive at Ranu Kumbolo. Time for rest, coffee break, stay overnight at tented accommodation.
07.00 pm - Dinner by the lake (Ranu).

Day 4: Ranu Kumbolo - Ranupane - Malang expand_more
08.00 am - After breakfast, return to Ranupane via Mt. Ayeg-Ayeg.
12.00 pm - Arrive at Ranupane, lunch break at Tasrip homestay.
01.00 pm - Return to Malang via Ngadas, Gubuk Klakah. Drop by Coban Pelangi.
04.00 pm - Arrive at Malang. Transfer to bus/train station, or transfer to other trip arrangements.
