• Go to the Sea Organ, an experimental musical instrument, which plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps.
• See the St. Francis Church and Franciscan Monastery, held by the Franciscan Province of Saint Jerome. 
• Explore St. Donatus Byzantine Basilica, named after the bishop who commissioned it. 
• Roam around the Roman forum, see how the Roman ruins sprout randomly from the city's streets. 
• Visit St. Anastasia's Cathedral, the largest church in all of Dalmatia.
• Walk around the City Walls and Gates of Zadar.
• Cross the People's Square.
• Pass by the Five Wells Square, anchored by 5 ornate 16th-century stone walls.
• Explore the Land Gate Fortress, a decorated stone gate that once served as the main entrance to the city. 
• Taste the famous Zadar liqueur Maraschino, whose production goes back to the 14th century. Explore the local chocolate shops.
