Have your breakfast in the hotel around 6 am. Meet your Lake Paron tour guide and depart in an air-conditioned private minivan around 7 am, in the North direction along the Callejon de Huaylas valley. 

Start the tour in Huaraz 3100 masl and then pass the typical small village of Paltay, Tarica. 

Cross the Rio Santa. Pass several typical villages Jangas, Yungar, Anta from where you can appreciate the beautiful white mountains Huandoy, Huascaran, Hualcan, Copa and others; you can also stop for photos.

Continue passing the Marcara district.

Move to Carhuaz where you can walk around the Plaza de Armas. Carhuaz is located at 2650 masl.

Propel to the historical province of Yungay, the ancient buried city at 2500 masl. 

Enjoy a guided visit which will take you around 45 minutes. 

Continue to Caraz small city. 

Begin on the unpaved trail going up along the Paron River full of eucalyptus trees and typical houses of peasants. 

Start driving up by a wonderful valley full of trees called Quenuales.

Arrive at Paron Lake and enjoy walking around the lake. Hike to the top of the lake with your guide. 

Enjoy clicking pictures and return to Caraz for a refreshing lunch in a typical restaurant around 3 pm.

Drive back direct to Huaraz, arriving around 6 pm.
