Have breakfast in the morning at the hotel and meet your Pastoruri tour guide.

Depart at 8 am by driving south side Huaraz. You will be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Visit Recuay Province at 3300masl, and continue to Ticampampa 3400masl and Catac 3500masl. 

Propel to Pachacoto. From here you will turn east side by the unpaved road and wonderful landscape of highlands full of straw and cold wind, traditional with sheepherders.

Stop next to a small lake called Patococha for birds watching such as wild ducks, Andean goose caracara birds and others. 

Halt at the Gasified Water Stream with drinkable gasified water flowing underground. 

Continue to the next stop at enormous flowers of Puya Raymondi, and changing colour small lake at Pumapampa. The changing colour is the effect of radiation of the sun and mineral containing rocks inside the water.

Proceed to Petroglyph Paints.

Arrive at Pastoruri parking place with your guide.

Get to the Ice Mountain which is about 1 km; you can do easy hiking or a horseback ride to reach the snow mountain of Pastoruri. 

Enjoy walking around Pastoruri and visit the Iced Lake and Ice cave.

Head back to Huaraz, arriving around 6 pm.
