  • Day 1: Aswan expand_more
    • Upon arrival at Aswan airport/railway station, you will be received and escorted by your Egypt tour guide to visit Aswan’s High Dam which provides Egypt with water, electricity and secures it from the destructive inundation of the Nile River. 

    • Visit the temple of Isis at Philae, dedicated to the mother God Horus and the consort of God Osiris. 

    • Have a sumptuous lunch and rest on the Nile Cruise. Take a felucca (traditional wooden sailing boat) ride around the islands of Aswan and Elephantine island believed to be a major ivory trading centre of ancient Egypt. Stay overnight on board.

  • Day 2: Kom Ombo Sightseeing expand_more
    • At 4:00 am you will go towards Abu Simbel (3-hour drive) to visit the Great and Small temples of King Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari. The temple complex is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the 'Nubian Monuments,' which run from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae.

    • Sail towards Kom-Ombo while having lunch. Visit the unusual double built temple dedicated to the Falcon god 'Haroeris' (southern part) and the crocodile god 'Sobek' (northern part) which was built during the Ptolemaic era.

    • Proceed towards Edfu overnight while having dinner and stay overnight in Edfu. 

  • Day 3: Edfu to Luxor expand_more
    • Witness the most well-preserved temple in Egypt flanked by beautiful granite statues of the Falcon God Horus. 

    • End your tour to Edfu temple and going back to the cruise, have lunch and proceed to Luxor.

    • Visit Luxor Temple built by King Amenhotep III(outer part) and King Ramses II(inner part). It is believed to host ancient Egyptian festivals. After entering the temple you will find a mosque called (Abu Al-Haggag) was built on the ruins of a church which were built inside the temple. The rear end of the temple is home to chapels built by King Thutmosis III and Alexander the Great.

    • Relish your dinner and be engrossed by grand folk shows onboard at the floating hotel. Stay onboard overnight in Luxor.

  • Luxor West Bank Tour - Karnak Temple expand_more
    • After breakfast, visit the Valley of the Kings, on the west bank of the Nile ( where you will see the well-preserved tombs belonging to the kings Ramses II and the child King Tut Ankh Amon, The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut called 'The Holy of Holies'.

    • Cross the Nile River to the East Bank to visit Karnak Temple Complex - a place of worship to the Theban triads (Gods Amun, his consort Mut, and their son Khunso). The entire complex consists of a vast mix of dilapidated temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings. Its construction began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom and continued into the Ptolemaic Period. 

    • Drop off at Luxor International airport/railway station to return back to Cairo.
