  • Day 1- Arrival in Cairo expand_more
    • Arrive at Cairo International Airport, meet your tour representative and transfer to your hotel.
  • Day 2- Giza - Saqqara expand_more
    • Today, visit the Giza Plateau.
    • Explore the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you.
    • Then, learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed.
    • Next, head to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara.
  • Day 3- Aswan - Nile cruise expand_more
    • Today, fly to Aswan to start your 3-night Nile cruise to Luxor. Meet your tour representative at Aswan airport and transfer to your cruise. Have lunch on board. 
    • In the late afternoon, take the traditional sailboat called a Felucca for a ride around Elephantine Island. 

    Overnight is in Aswan.

  • Day 4- Aswan - Kom Ombo Temple expand_more
    • Explore the highlights of the beautiful City of Aswan such as the High Dam, the Temple of Isis at Philae Island, and the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk.
      Head back to your cruise to set sail to Kom Ombo.
    • Stop to visit the twin Temple of Horus and Sobek as well as the Crocodile Museum. 
    • Then, set sail to Edfu. 

    Overnight is in Edfu.

  • Day 5- Edfu - Esna - Luxor expand_more
    • Wake up on the hustle and bustle of the horse carriages waiting to transfer you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. 
    • After the tour of the temple, the cruise will set sail to Luxor via the Lock of Esna.
      Upon arrival in Luxor, go to the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor.

    Overnight is in Luxor.

  • Day 6- Luxor - Cairo expand_more
    • Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.
    • Transfer to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo. 
    • Drive from Cairo airport to your hotel.
  • Day 7- Cairo Sightseeing - Departure expand_more
    •  Today, explore the remarkable contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt’s past are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
      Then, go to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, built-in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel.
    • Finish your tour at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
      Finally, transfer to Cairo airport for final departure.
