    • Depart from Melbourne at approximately 8:00 a.m. Drive through the Western Plains of Victoria on your way to historic Ballarat.
    • Learn a little about Australia's history as you enjoy some morning tea at the site of the infamous Eureka Rebellion.
    • Drive through the picturesque western volcanic plains to arrive at the foot of the Grampians Range or Gariwerd in the local Jardwadjali language.
    • Take a gentle stroll to the beautiful Silverband Falls.
    • Make your way into the township of Halls Gap for your included lunch. Check out the local kangaroos and abundant birdlife on the main street.
    • Head to the Wonderland Turntable for a short hike to the Grand Canyon of Australia. Appreciate the high rising rock walls, crisscrossed with layering and fault lines, showcasing the area’s unique geology. Stunning panoramas await at Reeds Lookout, which overlooks the towering Stringybark Forest and Victoria Valley.
    • Proceed to MacKenzie Falls next. Marvels as water cascades down over the rocks, set in a gorge surrounded by eucalyptus forest.
    • Walk the Bluff trail along the top of the cliffs to the viewpoint of the falls or journey down the stairs to the base of the steep gorge and gaze up at this imposing waterfall. 
    • Stop at Boroka Lookout, which provides scenic views of the surrounding region overlooking the town of Halls Gap and further afield to Lake Bellfield and beyond.
    • Head to Halls Gap to spot some of the area’s wild kangaroo population.
    • Have dinner on your way back to Melbourne.
    • Enjoy a stunning view of the illuminated city as you complete the return journey.
