  • Shkodra city is one of the oldest cities of the Balkan Peninsula and was the capital of the Ex-Illyrian Empire. A lovely landscape with a highland (Albanian Alps on north, Shkodra lake, Buna, Drini and Kir rivers) completely contrasts the tremendous natural colours. During the ottoman's time, it was the capital of Iskodra Vilayet, and nowadays, it is the most important city of Northern Albania.
