See the best of Northern Vietnam on this short backpacking trip as you begin from Sa Pa and head towards Sin Chai. Visit various villages up the hill and meet people from different ethnic groups. Learn about the culture and lifestyle of communities, such as Than Phu, Red Dzao and others.

    • Meet your travel guide at your hotel, and drive to the train station. 

    • Take an overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai–Sa Pa.

  • Day 2: Sa pa - Sin Chai expand_more

    • Reach Sa Pa early morning, and drive to the hotel. 

    • Have breakfast, meet your local guide, and drive to Thanh Phu Bridge.

    • Enjoy an easy trek along the Ngoi Bo River for 1 hour. 

    • Trek uphill to Muong Bo Village at the center of Thanh Phu Community. Enjoy a home made lunch. 

    • Head to Sin Chai B village. This is a village of of Red Dzao people.

    • Experience dinner, and overnight stay in a bamboo hut in the village. 

  • Day 3: Sin Chai - Sapa - Hanoi overnight train expand_more

    • Have breakfast, and head towards My Son village, inhabited by the Xafo ethnic minority, one of the most minor ethnic groups in Northern Vietnam.

    • After an hour and a half of walking to the Red Dzao village of Nam Toong, take a break for lunch.

    • Continue your trip towards Ban Ho village, where you might get to swim in local water bodies.

    • Drive back to Sa Pa.

    • Reach Lao Cai station for an overnight train to Hanoi.

  • Day 4: Hanoi Arrival expand_more

    • Arrive in Hanoi early morning. 

    • End of tour.
