    • In the early morning, our driver is welcomed at the main exit and transferred to Sapa. The 40-minute drive will take you to lovely Sapa town. Along the way, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of hills and mountains.
    • Then, take a rest and have breakfast at the hotel to get more energy for the full day trekking trip to villages. Our local tour guide will meet you at the hotel and accompanies you for a whole day trekking to different hill tribe villages in Sapa. The trek will be begun right after being transferred to Lao Chai – a village of the Hmong minority.
    • From the above road, you will trek down to this village through a very small route opened by the locals, across the paddy fields and along the river. The natural landscape with high mountains, long and deep rivers, and paddy fields will bring you a great and spectacular view of this area.
    • During the trek, you have a chance to talk to the locals who have lived here for years to learn about their culture and life. Then have a break for lunch.
    • Next on the route is a stop at Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai – home of the Hmong and Giay minorities inhabited here for centuries. Here you will have the opportunity to see the products of this minority at their best with hereditary rice fields, homes and vibrant communities. It is when you learn about rice cultivation on the terraced fields, feeding the livestock, catching fish with bamboo sticks and other activities in the annual festivals. Back to Sapa for dinner and night at the hotel.

Trekking Road: 12 km in 5 hours

  • Day 2: Sapa – Love Waterfall – Silver Waterfall – Lao Cai (B,L) expand_more
    • After breakfast at the hotel, check out and will visit 2 beautiful waterfalls in Sapa, which are not missed in your journey before coming back to Hanoi. One is Love Waterfall, located about 4km to the North-West of Sa Pa Town.
    • Drive on a red soil road to the waterfalls that wind through a primitive forest of lush ancient ivory trees and rhododendron flowers in white, red and yellow colour, and you will have a chance to enjoy a perfect painting-like landscape. From afar, the waterfall looks like a twinkling pyramid under the sun. This 100m high mountain starts from the peak of Fansipan Mountain and rushes noisily into the Gold Stream like a never-ending song.
    • Under the waterfall, the Gold Stream runs along with green grass plots and bamboo clusters, forming a poetic image. The local people say the waterfall's name originates from a love story. Legend has it that long ago, fairies from heaven used to come to the waterfall to bath. One day, the seventh fairy saw O Qui Ho, Ai Lao Mountain Genie's first son, playing his flute near the falls. Mesmerized by the flute sounds, the fairy spent every night listening to the sweet melodies until her parents detected her secret and forbade her from coming to the human world. The fairy missed O Qui Ho so much that she spent every afternoon at heaven’s gate looking towards the waterfall and waiting for the sounds of the flute. Then, she turned herself into a yellow bird that lives on O Qui Ho Mountain. Since then, the waterfall has been called “Love” to remind everyone of the legendary love story.
    • End of the day, you are back to Lao Cai and take a night train to Hanoi.
