  • DAY 1 - Arrival at Tashkent International Airport expand_more
    • After passport and customs control, you will be met outside of the arrival hall by your guide/driver. Transfer to hotel for check-in and rest. Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the time at your leisure.
    • 11:00: Start a guided tour of the Capital of Uzbekistan. Tashkent is a cosmopolitan city in the heart of Central Asia, the center of Silk Road culture. Visit Khazrat Imam Complex consisting of Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, Barak Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheik Mosque, Museum with Koran of Caliph Othman, Djuma Mosque and Kukeldash Madrasah from outside, Chorsu Bazaar and Tashkent Metro, and Museum of History of Uzbekistan. Return to hotel, time to rest. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
  • DAY 2 - Tour of Kokand expand_more
    • Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the station for the train between 07:00-07:30 to Kokand
    • 12:30: Arrive at Kokand and transfer for lunch at a local restaurant.
    • 14:00: Start the tour of Kokand, once the capital of the Khanate, in the 17th - 19th centuries. Visit Khudayar Khan's palace with the museum, Dakhmai Shokhon Complex, Friday mosque and Norbutabiy madrasah
    • 16:00 Depart to Rishtan, located 40km away, to visit the traditional school of Ceramics of Rustam Usmanov.
    • 17:30-18:00 Continue to Fergana, check in to hotel. Time at leisure. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Fergana.
  • DAY 3 - Fergana to Margilan City to Tashkent expand_more
    • Breakfast at the hotel, and depart for a morning visit to highlights of Fergana at 08:00
    • Visit City Park and its surroundings with Colonial Architecture
    • Drive to Margilan City and visit Silk Factory and Handicrafts Center.
    • Visit the market of Margilan.
    • Transfer to Tashkent by road via Kamchik Pass, 350km 5-6hrs. Arrival and transfer for check in and rest. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
  • DAY 4 - Nukus to Chimbay Village to Nukus expand_more
    • Check out from the hotel. Packed takeaway breakfast from the hotel.
    • 05:00-05:30: Transfer to domestic airport for flight HY to Nukus 07:00-08:40.
    • 09:00: Arrival at Nukus. Visit the famous Savitsky Museum, Famous for the Avant Garde Collection, Archeology and Ethnography Collections of Local Lore.  
    • Transfer to Chimbay Village, 60km, to observe the daily life of Karakalpak People
    • Yurt Making Workshop and Wool Carper Making Workshop. Lunch at a local house.
    • Transfer to the hotel in Nukus for check-in and rest. Dinner at a local café/restaurant. Overnight at hotel. 
  • DAY 5 - Ellikkala to Khiva expand_more
    • Breakfast at the hotel and depart to the remains of the Antique Civilization in Ellikkala district, 165km, to visit Toprak Kala, Kizil Kala, and Ayaz Kala Fort remains. Lunch at Nomadic Yurt Camp.
    • Continue to Khiva, an ancient capital of Khorezm (Khwarazma “The Land of the Sun”), 100km 2hrs. Upon arrival in Khiva, check in to the hotel and time to rest. Dinner with Folk Performance. Overnight in Khiva.
  • DAY 6 - Guided Walking Tour of the UNESCO Heritage Site, Itchan-Kala expand_more
    • Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to a guided walking tour of the splendid UNESCO heritage site – Itchan-Kala: visit Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah and Kalta Minar, Kunya Ark, and Muhammad Rahim Khan Madrasah.
    • Proceed to the Mausoleum of local Saint Pakhlavan Makhmud, Djuma Mosque with 218 columns, Minaret and Madrasah of Islam Khodja, and Allakuli Khan Madrasah and Caravan Saray.
    • Discover the Tash Khauli Palace and Harem.
    • Enjoy your free time in the afternoon to take a walk through the old streets of Itchan-Kala. Overnight at hotel.
  • DAY 7 - Transfer to Bukhara expand_more
    • Breakfast at the hotel and transfer by road from Khiva to Bukhara 460km 7-8hrs with stops. Journey to Bukhara through the Kyzyl-Kum desert, the second largest desert in Central Asia after Kara-Kum. En route, enjoy a panoramic view over The Amu-Darya River. Lunch at a local café along the road.  
    • Arrival and check in to hotel. Pre-dinner walks in the old city. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
  • DAY 8 - Guided City Tour in Bukhara expand_more
    • Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed on a guided city tour in Bukhara, the old centre of culture, where locals speak the dialect of Farsi. Explore one of the gems of Islamic architecture, the center of Mediaeval Education, the Ark Citadel, the palace of the Last rulers, and Bolo-Khauz Mosque, with beautiful ayvan and columns.
    • Visit the Kalon Complex consisting of Minarets, Mosque, Mir-Arab Madrasah, Lyabi-Khauz complex with Nadir-Divan Begi Madrasah and Khanaka, Kukaldosh Madrasah.
    • Explore Magoki-Attor mosque, known as the most ancient, Madrasah of Ulugbek and Madrasah of Abdul-Aziz Khan, Trade domes, Sarrafon, Telpak Furushon, Zargaron and Abdullakhan.
    • Return to the city and enjoy some free time at the bazaars of the Bukhara and feel the spirit of the Silk Road. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
  • DAY 9 - Transfer to Samarkand with Gizjduvan Ceramics Workshop expand_more
    • Have breakfast and check out from the hotel, and spend the morning exploring the outskirts of the marvellous city of the Silk Road, visiting the Samanid Mausoleum and Mausoleum of Chashma-Ayub.
    • Visit the Summer Palace of the last dynasty – Sitorai Mokhi Khosa Palace, built to host the family of the Romanovs. Some of the objects are exclusively were brought from Europe and Russia.
    • Depart to Samarkand by road, 280km 5hrs. En route, visit Gizjduvan Ceramics Workshop to learn about local style and colours. Lunch at Ceramics Workshop with homemade food.
    • Continue to Samarkand, upon arrival check in to hotel for fresh n up. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at a hotel.
  • DAY 10 - Guided City Tour of Samarkand expand_more
    • Breakfast at the hotel, and proceed on a guided city tour in Samarkand, the capital of the Great Empire of Tamerlane, a city praised by Medieval poets and historians. Visit Gur-Emir mausoleum, the family vault of the Timurids, Registan Square consisting of Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tillya Kari Madrasah.
    • Proceed to visit the Grandeur Bibi-Khanum Mosque, Colorful Siyab Bazaar, and Khazrat Khizr Mosque. Return to the hotel, time at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
  • DAY 11 - Shakhrisabz expand_more
    • After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Shakhrisabz, the birthplace of Tamerlane, via Takhtakharacha Pass of the Pamir Mountains.
    • Start the guided tour by visiting the magnificent architectural monuments of the Timurids period - Entry Pylons of Remains of Ak-Saray palace of Tamerlane, Mausoleum Gumbazi Saidon.
    • Visit the Dorus Saodat complex, Mausoleum of Djehangir and Khazrat Imam Mosque, and Dorut Tilovat complex with Kok Gumbaz Mosque and Mausoleum of Sheikh Shamsiddin Kulal. Lunch at a local Restaurant.

  • DAY 12 - Tour in Samarkand and transfer to Tashkent expand_more

    • Continue the tour in Samarkand with visits to the Shakhi-Zinda Complex, Silk Paper Workshop based on 9th-century technology, and Oil Mills.
    • Stroll through the Museum of Ulugbek observatory with the original instrument sextant.
    • Transfer to the Railway Station for the Train to Tashkent as per the timetable.

  • DAY 13 - Half-day tour of the modern part of Tashkent expand_more
    • Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day tour of the modern part of Tashkent including the Independence Square, Duke Romanov Mansion, Museum of Applied Arts, and the Monument of Courage.
    • Visit the Grand Opera Theatre, Local Broadway, Amir Temur Square, and Memorial of Victims for the Freedom. Return to hotel and rest. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
  • DAY 14 - Departure expand_more

    • Transfer to the Tashkent International Airport for the return flight at 08:00 am. Check-in for the flight. End of tour.

What to bring

RECOMMENDED CLOTHING:

  • During the summer, light clothing, shirts, cotton suits, hats, comfortable shoes, etc. The high summer temperatures make it very advisable to carry good sunscreen.

  • Tour Operator reserves the right to modify itineraries and/or substitute hotels of a reasonably similar quality, when available, should circumstances beyond our control deem it necessary.
  • Domestic flights / Trains are booked as per availability; in case a flight/train is cancelled or no tickets are available at the time of booking, the itinerary will be modified as per the timetable.  
  • In case of any currency fluctuations, amendments in local government taxes, or any fuel hike, we reserve the right to adjust the tour price accordingly.
  • Prices are subject to change in case of a change of the price policy of the country of the contractor that may result in a change in the unit cost rates from the dollar to another currency (euro, sum, etc.)
  • Deposits made for payment will be changed when there are currency fluctuations to occur. Full payment is due as per the final invoice.
  • Meals such as Lunches and Dinners are provided at local café and restaurants;  
  • Hotel check-in time is 14.00, and Check-out time is 11.00. Important – no early arrivals and late departures are included;

CLIMATE (*):

  • The climate is extremely continental, with cold winters and very hot summers, ranging from -10º C in January to 42° C in summer. The summers are dry and hot.
