Day 1: Arrive in Montevideo expand_more
- Arrive at Carrasco International Airport, meet your driver and head straight to your luxury Boutique Hotel located in the upmarket neighbourhood of Carrasco.
- If arriving early have lunch at the hotel
- Enjoy time at the pool or take a walk through the neighbourhood.
- The rest of the day is at your leisure.
- Enjoy a sunset drink in the garden followed by a romantic dinner with local wine.

Day 2: Wine Tasting & Montevideo City Tour expand_more
- Have breakfast, then enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Montevideo and its best attractions stopping at the best places to take pictures.
- Enjoy a Gourmet Lunch with wines at a family winery in the heart of the Canelones wine region. This is more of an educational experience, where you will learn about Uruguay wines in a fun atmosphere hosted by a winery expert, who will guide you through the wines. You will taste many wines including Tannat.
- Visit the vineyards, winery, cellar and packaging room.
- After making new friends head back to your boutique accommodation in Carrasco.
- Have dinner with wine and spend the night in the hotel.

Day 3: Trip to Colonia del Sacramento expand_more
- Have breakfast, then enjoy a full-day trip to Colonia del Sacramento, where you will visit a world heritage site and see sweeping views from the river plate.
- Stop at Nueva Helvecia (formerly Colonia Suiza), where residents have maintained their Swiss traditions and customs to this day.
- Halt at Plaza de Toros de San Carlos (former bullring). The arena hosted a total of eight fights before bullfighting was prohibited by the Uruguayan national government in 1912. This is a landmark location in Uruguay.
- The next stop will be the historic plaza near the Old Fort, a world heritage site.
- Have a local lunch at your leisure. We will recommend a nice place.
- Return to Montevideo for dinner with wine and overnight stay.

Day 4: Day Trip to Punta del Este with Wine Tasting expand_more
- Have breakfast, then head to Punta del Este for a day trip.
- Stop at a new winery just outside the beach town of Piriapolis, where you will have a breathtaking view of the vineyards followed by a complete wine tasting with a light lunch - plates of cheeses, cured hams, empanadas and snacks. This winery produces delicious wines just 3km from the ocean.
- Taste many wines, including Albariño, Viognier and of course Tannat.
- Head to Casapueblo, constructed by the Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró. It is located in Punta Ballena, 13 kilometres from Punta del Este. Initially, it was the artist's summer home and workshop, which houses a museum, art gallery, cafeteria, and hotel. Enter the museum or enjoy a drink on the terrace with phenomenal views!
- Have a local coffee at the restaurant overlooking epic views.
- Head to Punta del Este, where we will stop at La Mano (the hand out of the sand), followed by a tour of the peninsula and lighthouse. Once we get to the Port, you will have free time to explore or grab a bite to eat or drink.
- Travel back to Montevideo for dinner at your leisure

Day 5: Departure expand_more
- Have breakfast, then head to Carrasco Airport for your flight back home. If you would like to stay more nights we have designed a 5 Day Luxury Experience in Punta del Este.
