    • Welcome to the "Pearl of Africa"! On the day of arrival, you will be warmly received by our guide who will then transfer you to your accommodation.

    Overnight: Airport Guesthouse Entebbe

  • Day 2: Visit to a Landing Site Community Project in Entebbe expand_more
    • Leave the hotel after breakfast; today, you will visit Mukuuba, a fishing village on Lake Victoria, one of the community tourism projects of Yange Africa.
    • Activities include a community walk, board games with the locals, witnessing fishing, and visiting a local island.
    • Departure from Hotel: 9 am and Return: 5 pm. Activities in Mukuuba: 10 am-4 pm. Lunch break at 1:30 pm.

  • Day 3: Kampala City Tour expand_more
    • Today after breakfast, you will embark on a city tour of Kampala with your ATW Holidays Africa guide.
    • You will visit various historical and cultural sites including Kasubi Royal Tombs (a UNESCO heritage site), Mengo Palace, Gadhafi Mosque, Nakasero Market, and the Rolex culinary experience.
    • You will have lunch at a restaurant in Kampala and overnight at the hotel.
    • Overnight: Grand Imperial hotel. Meal Plan: B, L & D
  • Day 4: Transfer to Western Uganda (Approx. 4 hour drive) expand_more
    • Depart Kampala early enough and start off the journey to western Uganda.
    • Stop over at the Equator for breakfast and witness the water experiment.
    • Continue the journey, stopping at roadside markets to enjoy tropical fruits like pineapples and melons.
    • Overnight: Igongo Cultural Centre. Meal Plan: B, L & D
  • Day 5: Cultural Experience at Ishanyu Homestead expand_more
    • After breakfast, transfer to Ishanyu homestead and experience some of the cultural treasures of the Ankole people.
    • Activities include milking a cow, preparing and tasting traditional yoghurt, ghee, and milk in traditional pots.
    • Start-off time: 7:30 am to the homestead. Full-day experience.

  • Day 6: Travel to Queen Elizabeth (Approx. 3 hour drive) expand_more
    • Depart Mbarara for Queen Elizabeth after breakfast at the hotel.
    • Stop at roadside markets to enjoy more of Uganda’s tasty fruits.
    • Check-in at the accommodation and, after a lunch break, take on a game drive to witness Uganda’s wildlife.

  • Day 7: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth and Launch trip expand_more
    • Start with an early breakfast at the lodge, then transfer to the park for a morning game drive.
    • Browse the plains around Kasenyi and later have lunch before taking an afternoon launch trip along the beautiful Kazinga channel.

  • Day 8: Travel to Kasese Town Visit (TWEO and Kororo Falls) expand_more
    • Have a hearty breakfast then transfer early to Kasese town.
    • Spend the morning at Thuyilweko Women Empowerment Organization (TWEO), participating in craft and weaving sessions, traditional performances, and a community visit.
    • Visit banana and coffee fields and also visit the Kororo Falls.

  • Day 9: Transfer to Fort Portal (1.5 hours drive), Top of the World hike expand_more
    • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and later set off to Fort Portal on a scenic drive with views of the Rwenzori mountains.
    • Arrive and have lunch, then in the late afternoon, take on an adventurous crater field experience with the "top of the world hike".

  • Day 10: Visit to Amabere Caves and back to Kampala (Approx. 6-hour drive) expand_more
    • Start with an early breakfast or a packed one.
    • Hike to the Mabere Ga'Nyinamwiru caves in Nyakasura, a site with vibrant nature and cultural history and significance.
    • In the afternoon, depart and embark on a drive back to Kampala with a lunch stop en route.
    • You arrive late in the evening and are dropped off at the hotel or airport for your flight home.
