• Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location in Kampala or Entebbe and begin your six-hour drive to Kibale Forest National Park.

• Have lunch en-route and arrive in the afternoon.

• Begin your day with an early breakfast. 

• Report to the briefing area for the pre-tracking brief by park staff and start your chimpanzee tracking adventure.

• Spot groups of playful chimpanzees. You will also see numerous primates, birds and insects as you walk along the forest trails.

• Return to your lodge for lunch. 

• Embark on an afternoon nature walk in the Bigodi Swamp. Bigodi swamp is famous for its rare primates, including the black and white L’Hoest monkey, red colobus monkey, grey-cheeked, colobus monkey, mangabey, vervet monkey, red-tailed monkey, blue monkey and the baboon. You may get to see mammals like bush pigs, sitatungas, bushbucks and otters. Primates like the mongooses and chimpanzees also visit the Bigodi wetland from the Kibale forest. Bigodi Swamp is a delight for birders, too, as it has over 138 species of birds, including the famous great blue Turaco.

Rest overnight at your lodge.

• After breakfast, embark on your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe and have your lunch en-route.

• Be dropped off at your accommodation in Kampala or at the Entebbe Airport.
