Explore Lake Mburo National Park for its varied collection of flora and fauna as well as spot elands, zebras, impalas, warthogs, African buffaloes, jackals, and many bird species during your game drives.     • You will be picked up from Entebbe/Kampala at 8:30 am by your tour guide. Start driving towards Lake Mburo National Park on the western side of Uganda.

    • Arrive in the afternoon and have lunch.  After lunch, you can go swimming or relax in your room or enjoy a one-hour full-body massage by a well-trained masseur.

    • You can go on a game drive through the Research Track to Kazuma Lookout Point in the afternoon, with a stunning view over six of the twelve lakes surrounding Lake Mburo National Park.

    •  On your way, you will see most of the animal species that live in the Park. The walk towards the Kazuma Lookout Point is steep but short and so rewarding that it should not be missed when visiting Lake Mburo National Park.

  • Day 2: Lake Mburo National Park /Kampala expand_more
    • In the morning, have tea or coffee taken to your room at 7:30 am and breakfast at 8:00 am. 

    • Leave your lodge at 9:00 am for the boat trip on Lake Mburo, starting at 10:00 am. You will see many hippos, a few crocodiles and a large variety of bird species. If you are lucky, you might see buffaloes from the boat as well as other wildlife, and with a lot of luck, you may even spot a leopard. 

    • It is recommended to drive back to the Mburo Safari Lodge for lunch and to enjoy the pool. 

    • Embark on your journey back to Kampala. On the way, stop at the equator for pictures, and you can buy a souvenir to remember your visit.
