  • Day 1: Dar Es Salaam - Ruaha Hilltop Lodge expand_more
    • Get picked up from Dar es Salaam, and you will start your trip to Ruaha National Park via Iringa town. This trip is expected to take up to 8 hours of driving. You will have two stops for refreshments and lunch on the way to Ruaha. This day will be dedicated to travelling and ensuring you get to Ruaha National Park.

    • Arrive, and you will be checked in at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for dinner and overnight.
  • Day 2: Ruaha National Park expand_more
    • Leave at 06:30 for morning game drives with packed breakfast and lunch boxes.

    • Continue with the game drive searching for wild animals around different park locations till lunch break.

    • Finish lunch, rest within the park, and continue with the game drive till around 18:30 hours, when you will return to your accommodation. Other animals and attractions you should expect to see include but are not limited to buffalos, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, impalas, warthogs, elephants, hippos, different birds, plants and reptile species.

  • Day 3: Ruaha National Park expand_more
    • After breakfast, embark on a full day's game drive in Ruaha National Park. With its untouched nature, It remains one of the most exciting game reserves, almost as large as the Serengeti. It is a birdwatchers' paradise with 350 different species of birds. Wildlife is concentrated along the Great Ruaha River, which is the heart of the wildlife in the park, such as waterbucks, impalas and Grant Gazelles. The shores of the Great Ruaha River are the permanent hunting ground for lions, leopards, jackals, hyenas and African wild dogs.

    • Enjoy the fascinating beauty of the Ruaha National Park with a picnic lunch in the park.

  • Day 4: Ruaha - Dar Es Salaam expand_more
    • Meet our driver-guide, who will drive you to Dar Es Salaam via Iringa and Morogoro with a lunch stop at Msolwa cafe before reaching Dar es Salaam for departure.

  • Ruaha National Park: Ruaha is believed to have a high concentration of elephants than any national park in East Africa. It is also where magnificent mammals like Kudu (Greater and Lesser), Sable and Roan antelopes can easily be spotted in Miombo woodland. The male Kudu have beautiful spiralled horns, while the male Sable antelope have impressive curved horns.
