  • Day 1: Arrive at Arusha expand_more
    • Arrive at the Kilimanjaro Airport and drive to your lodge in Arusha (45-60 minutes) for your first overnight.
    • Your guide will give you a short introduction and explanation of the details of your tour.

  • Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park expand_more
    • After breakfast, your driver will pick you up at the hotel.
    • Make your way to Tarangire National Park. The drive will be approximately 2 hours. 
    • Arrive at Tarangire National Park. Big baobab trees, bush savannah, and the seasonal marshes add to the wonders of this nature reserve; It is considered one of the best parks to sight elephants close. The Park is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, closely followed by a range of predators such as lions and leopards.
    • Absorb the landscape and get a perfect view of the wildlife. 
    • Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River.
    • Take an afternoon game drive before heading to your accommodations for the night.

  • Day 3: Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • After early morning breakfast, exit Tarangire and head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
    • Leaving the highlands at the back, move into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. 
    • Head to the central park area, also known as Seronera. Seronera is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park and features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to the wildlife in the area. Nature is representative of most of the Serengeti’s wildlife species.
    • Arrive in Seronera mid-day and after lunch.
    • Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

  • Day 4: Full day game drive at Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • Drive along the shores of the Seronera River and Mara River, trying to find unforgettable moments and a glimpse of the way wild animals live and survive. You can see a herd of Wildebeests crossing the river, a hunting cheetah, lion, or other predators.
    • Keep an eye out for Nile Crocodiles (sometimes more than 6 meters long), waiting for animals to come drinking or crossing, and ambush them.

  • Day 5: Full day game drive at Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • Embark on a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park.

  • Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater expand_more
    • After breakfast at the camp, head out for a game drive until mid-day. 

    • Have a picnic lunch in the Park.

    • Continue onward to Ngorongoro. 

    • Visit the Maasai people who live in the Ngorongoro conservation area. Learn about their culture and traditional practices.

  • Day 7: Departure expand_more
    • Descend approximately 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports various animals, including herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another big attraction to this picturesque National Park is its dense predators, such as lions, hyenas, and jackals. Cheetahs and leopards are usually not seen in the crater as they tend to roam outside the crater and around the crater rim. You might see black rhinos that are easier to spot in Ngorongoro than in other parks in Tanzania. 
    • Visit Lake Magadi, one of the main features of the crater. Lake Magadi is a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater and is home to flamingos and hippos.
    • Enjoy lunch at the designated picnic site.
    • Start your journey back to Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport. Tour ends here.
