    • Arrive at Kampala, meet with the tour guide and drive to Kibale National Park. It is a 4 hours drive to Kibale forest. 
    • Have lunch at Chimp Nest Lodge and enjoy an afternoon nature walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary, home to beautiful forest birds, including blue turaco, primates, and butterflies. 

    Overnight stay at a lodge/ camp in Kibale National Park.

  • Day 2: Kibale Forest- Queen Elizabeth National Park expand_more
    • Have breakfast and the camp and transfer to Kanyanchu Kibale Forest Park headquarters for a briefing from the park ranger and at 8:00 am.
    • Begin with chimpanzee tracking. This activity normally takes 4 hours. 
    • Have lunch in the forest, then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

    Overnight stay at Ihamba Safari Lodge/ Enganzi Lodge/ Mweya Safari Lodge.

  • Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park expand_more
    • Wake up early in the morning and begin with a Game drive following the Kasenyi track anticipating lions, leopards, antelopes, buffaloes, and elephants.
    • Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. 
    • Go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Spot the wildlife along the river banks, including crocodiles, hippos, and more. This is a major highlight of this park. 

    Overnight stay at Ihamba Safari Lodge/ Enganzi Lodge/ Mweya Safari Lodge.

  • Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park- Bwindi Impenetrable Forest expand_more
    • Begin with a Game drive in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park – the Ishasha Game Reserve. 
    • Spot the tree climbing lions in this part of the park.
    • Proceed to Bwindi Forest National Park for an overnight stay at the Gorilla Forest Camp or Silverback Lodge, where the gorillas sometimes spend the night with guests at a fireplace. 
  • Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest- Kigali International Airport expand_more
    • Wake up early in the morning, reach the park headquarters for a briefing from the park ranger, and begin your gorilla trek. Every gorilla family is visited by a maximum of 8 people daily. 
    • Spend at least an hour with the gorillas and observe them before returning to the lodge for a hot lunch.
    • Transfer to Rwanda for your evening flight.
